A group of Black Lives Matter and Antifa rioters were convicted on federal charges after attempting to frame the Proud Boys for a series of vandalism and arson attacks the far-left extremists carried out on Atlanta police vehicles and United States Postal Service property during the lead up to the 2020 presidential election.

The most high-profile Black Lives Matter group in the nation spent almost a quarter of its donations in 2020 on consultants and lawyers, DailyMail.com can reveal.

The Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation (BLMGNF) submitted a statement of its revenue and expenses for the year while applying for tax-exempt, nonprofit status in August 2020.

IRS documents obtained by DailyMail.com show the group blew $12.7million out of the $60million in donations it received following the outcry over George Floyd’s death on ‘professional fees.’

In much of the West, there is a tendency to lump together culturally and economically different groups on the grounds of race. This is particularly pronounced in the case of ‘Black America’.

This category, to which many progressives still cleave, hides significant differences among the US’s black population – such as those between US-born black Americans and recently arrived black immigrants and refugees. The lives of the black immigrants, originating from countries such as Jamaica, Haiti, Nigeria, Ethiopia and the Dominican Republic, simply do not fit the pessimistic narratives of ‘Black America’ that we always hear from the identitarian left. These tend to focus on the plight of US-born black Americans.

When prominent young far-left activist Quintez Brown was arrested last week for allegedly trying to assassinate a Jewish mayoral candidate in Kentucky, he was portrayed sympathetically by the media and immediately bailed out of jail by his Black Lives Matter comrades, who crowdfunded the $100,000 cost.

Brown, 21, had BLM privilege. A celebrated gun control advocate, anointed as a rising star by the Obama Foundation, he was an honored guest on Joy Reid’s MSNBC show. He was granted a biweekly opinion column in the Louisville Courier-Journal to spew boilerplate leftist, race-based, anti-cop sentiment.

It seems to be harder to donate money to the Canadian truckers protesting their country’s vaccine mandate than it is to keep Hunter Biden out of a strip club. After GoFundMe seized millions of dollars raised on its platform for the Freedom Convoy, Christian crowdfunding site GiveSendGo stepped in and enabled donors to give nearly $10 million.

The beleaguered Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation has been kicked off Amazon’s charity platform for its failure to disclose where tens of millions in donations it received nearly two years ago have ended up.

AmazonSmile, which gives a portion of eligible purchases on the online shopping site to charities, said it “had to temporarily suspend” the group today, an Amazon spokesperson told The Post.

“States have rules for nonprofits, and organizations participating in AmazonSmile need to meet those rules,” the spokesperson said. “Unfortunately this organization fell out of compliance with the rules in several states, so we’ve had to temporarily suspend them from the program until they come into compliance.”

More and more questions are being raised about BLM’s finances.

The Black Lives Matter movement has raised billions of dollars over the past several years. But no one seems to know how most of that money has been spent.

On 20 December 2020, The Economist noted that $10.6 billion had been pledged to causes and organisations affiliated with BLM. According to that article and further reporting from the right-leaning Daily Signal, BLM’s corporate donors included Amazon, Gatorade, Microsoft, 23andMe and Tinder, while recipients ranged from the small-scale Unicorn Riot guerilla media firm to the sizeable Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation (BLMGNF).

Kelly Dolan, Karen E. Knudsen, Jonathan Reckford. These are the respective CEOs of the Ronald McDonald House Charities, the American Cancer Society, and Habitat for Humanity. Their jobs are to offer leadership and guidance and to be responsible, along with their board members, for the direction and financial transparency of their organizations.

Black Lives Matter is another major nonprofit in this country. But who is running it, and how are their donations being spent? The answers are hard to find.
