A long-awaited, comprehensive report, released last week, concluded that male-to-female transgender athletes do, in fact, have a competitive advantage against biologically female athletes and that it is impossible to guarantee both safety and fairness if male-to-female transgender athletes are allowed to compete in women’s events.

In 2015, during the Obama administration, the Supreme Court ruled that the equal protection clause of the 14th Amendment requires states to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples. This decision — which made the final pronouncement on the first major battle about gender confusion — rendered meaningless the distinction between men and women. It was no longer necessary for a married couple to comprise a male and a female. In a marriage, there could now be two husbands or two wives.

… Yostin Murillo and David Beak were convicted of first-degree murder for Estrada’s slaying and sentenced to life in prison earlier this month. Murillo — who was supposed to have been booted from the country in 2015 — wants easy time.

Like a lot of other enterprising jailbirds playing Corrections Canada like a fiddle, Murillo now identifies as a woman. Just the latest violent criminal who wants to do their time in a women’s prison. Their future cellmates aren’t happy.

A former server at a Gibsons, B.C. restaurant has been awarded $30,000 after a B.C. Human Rights Tribunal decision found they were unfairly terminated for asking managers and co-workers to call them by their proper pronouns.

The decision, by the tribunal’s Devyn Cousineau, found that Jessie Nelson, a non‐binary, gender fluid, transgender person who uses they/them pronouns, was terminated because of “how they responded to discrimination” from their employer and a colleague.

On Sept. 10, at the Combate Global prelims in Miami, female-identifying MMA fighter Alana McLaughlin — formerly Ryan McLaughlin, a member of the United States Army Special Forces — won her debut competition, after six months of training, against competitor Celine Provost, who had been training for a decade. McLaughlin’s “rear-naked choke” of Provost 32 seconds into the second round ended it decisively.

The liberal media’s branding of this incident as a ‘hoax’ was disgraceful.

What kind of person would cast aspersions on a woman of colour in order to defend a man who had allegedly exposed his genitals to women? Surely you would need to trawl the darker, weirder regions of the internet to find such an individual, to discover people so bereft of morality that they are willing to question the reputation of a black woman in order to shield an alleged flasher from critique? Actually, no. You only need to look to the Guardian, that self-styled conscience of decent liberals, that bastion of woke rectitude. For it was there, in the pages of this chattering-class bible, that in a clash between a woman of colour who had been flashed at and the man who allegedly flashed at her, it was the former who was demonised and the latter who was treated with sympathy.

“Documented instances of females being charged with rape as an accomplice are rare. Yet, between 2012 and 2018, the proportion of rape defendants classified as women varied between 1.2 per cent and 1.8 per cent.

“During this seven-year period, 436 individuals prosecuted for rape were recorded as women.”

Sullivan added: “We can respect people’s gender identities without denying the material reality of sex. Ideally, crime statistics should record both.

How did the world come to this?

A child safeguarding expert who faced vilification after raising concerns about the safety of children undergoing treatment at a London NHS gender identity clinic has won an employment tribunal case against the hospital trust.

Sonia Appleby, 62, was awarded £20,000 after an employment tribunal ruled the NHS’s Tavistock and Portman trust’s treatment of her damaged her professional reputation and “prevented her from proper work on safeguarding”.

Appleby, an experienced psychoanalytical psychotherapist, was responsible for protecting children at risk from maltreatment.

Shon Faye is a man who believes he is a woman. He is wholly convinced that, while he might have reached ‘womanhood’ via a different method to, say, my mother, he is as much a woman as she is. I think he is mistaken. In fact, I think he is deluded. In my view, as sincerely held as Faye’s, a male who undergoes castrative surgery or hormonal treatment no more becomes a woman than a man who chops off his ear becomes Vincent van Gogh. I say this not to be insulting but rather to draw attention to one of the key moral dilemmas of the transgender issue – the question of whose beliefs should enjoy precedence at the social and legal level.

In June, a group of women complained that a person who identified as female exposed their penis at the Wi Spa in Los Angeles. The incident led to months of sometimes violent protests, with media outlets declaring it an example of bias against the transgendered, or even that it didn’t happen. Slate said it was a “transphobic hoax.”

But on Monday, charges of indecent exposure were discreetly filed against a serial sex offender for the Wi Spa incident, following an investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department.

The Virginia Supreme Court upheld a lower court’s reinstating a teacher in Loudoun County who refused to comply with the school district’s policy forcing all staff and students to use only pronouns for students’ chosen gender rather than their biological sex.
