Why Does Canada “Lead” the World in Funding Racist Indoctrination?

IMPACT-se just released their Review of the 2025-2026 Palestinian Authority School Curriculum (Grades 1-12). They reviewed 290 text books and 71 teacher guides (both printed and digital) currently in use by schools charged with educating Palestinian children. The results were unambiguous:

“The review finds that the 2025–2026 Palestinian Authority curriculum continues to systematically violate UNESCO principles and educational standards. Published in September 2025, the curriculum incites antisemitism and violence, promotes jihad and martyrdom, glorifies terrorism, rejects peacemaking and the two-state solution, and erases Israel from maps. It has not been substantively modified since the 2020–2021 school year, maintaining the same ideological framework first established in the 2016 reform cycle.”

Trump lauds ‘good relationship’ with Carney but won’t say if they’ll restart trade talks

U.S. President Donald Trump spoke highly of Canada on Sunday. But when asked if he would restart trade talks with his northern neighbour, he replied with a vague, “We’ll see.”

While on his way to a gala at the Kennedy Center in Washington, Trump said he had a “very good, very productive” talk on Friday with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney and Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum at the sidelines of a World Cup draw event.

A spokesperson for Carney said those talks were “constructive.”

Right-wingers branded danger to children

A former Royal Marine has been banned from working with children after he protested against illegal migrants, The Telegraph can disclose.

Free speech campaigners said spurious safeguarding concerns were increasingly being deployed to “silence” people with “patriotic views” in a “scandalous abuse of the system”.

One campaign group has identified more than a dozen cases in which laws intended to keep children safe from harm from adults are being used to crack down on Right-wing views.

Concerns have intensified over the treatment of Jamie Michael, an Iraq war veteran, who has been barred from coaching his daughter’s football team.

What to know about rumours of return-to-office plans for public service employees

A return-to-office five days a week is rumoured for the federal workforce, and details point to a much more structured approach than anything public servants have seen since before the pandemic.

An internal Treasury Board document obtained by La Presse lays out the clearest picture of how far the government may be prepared to go. The document indicates a stepped rollout to tighten attendance expectations across the core public service and introduce a more rigid schedule in federal offices.

Carney has already demonstrated that when it comes to a vote bloc as potent as the civil service he will make a “big pronouncement” then do little to nothing.

Can you ban kids from social media? Australia is about to, but some teens are a step ahead

It took 13-year-old Isobel less than five minutes to outsmart Australia’s “world-leading” social media ban for children.

A notification from Snapchat, one of the ten platforms affected, had lit up her screen, warning she’d be booted off when the law kicked in this week – if she couldn’t prove she was over 16.

“I got a photo of my mum, and I stuck it in front of the camera and it just let me through. It said thanks for verifying your age,” Isobel claims. “I’ve heard someone used Beyoncé’s face,” she adds.

CRISANTI: Toronto needs a course correction, taxpayers deserve better

I still remember the good old days when the taxpayers were in charge, and all Torontonians could rely on the consistent delivery of core services.

Back then, people were confident that their local government was working for them. As Torontonians grapple with the thought of another property tax hike, they have simply lost faith in how it will benefit them.

Chicagoans throw snowballs at ICE agents as street turns into chaotic tear-gas blizzard

Rowdy Chicago residents were seen throwing snowballs at federal ICE agents before the freezing streets were filled with clouds of tear gas.

The chaotic scene took place on Saturday in Elgin, Illinois, about 50 minutes outside of Chicago, as a massive crowd of anti-ICE protestors took to the streets to try and fight back against President Donald Trump’s ongoing immigration crackdown.

Federal agents descended on the Chicago area as part of Operation Midway Blitz in early September, and in recent weeks they have been focusing on the Windy City’s suburbs.
