Russia is sidestepping American oil sanctions

The global oil market isn’t exactly cooperating

When the European Union finally made the decision to ban 90 percent of Russia’s crude oil imports by the end of the year, the bureaucrats in Brussels were jubilant. The EU’s adoption of oil sanctions was thought be a big blow to Russian President Vladimir Putin, who depends on the revenue generated by his country’s oil exports to fund his war in Ukraine.

Biden’s Green Hypocrisy

The president’s attempt to lift the federal gas tax exposes the hollowness of climate-change rhetoric.

If there were any lingering doubt that climate-change policy is empty virtue-signaling, President Joe Biden dispelled it on Wednesday when he called on Congress to lift the federal gasoline tax. This desperate pitch is just the latest move in the White House’s increasingly panicked campaign to lower the cost of tanking up. Biden also asked state officials to pause their own local gasoline taxes.

Sudan: The Genocide No One Talks About

In Darfur, an area of Sudan, massacres have been taking place on a daily basis for several decades. This is happening everywhere in the country, even before its independence.

But who is talking about it?

The Western world seems lack empathy, perhaps due to its weariness in the watching this tragedy for so long, and masked by geopolitical and economic interests.

Don’t tell me… another Islamist state convulsed in violence. Colour me shocked. Islam dominates this region and it is a conflict primarily between “Arabs” and “Africans” with a small percentage of unfortunate Christians and Animists thrown into the mix.

Rising wages for the poor? The left’s solution: more immigration

Back when Democrats were the party of the working man, they would have welcomed news that low-wage workers were in a position to demand higher pay.

Not anymore.

Whether under President Donald Trump or in today’s tight labor market, the left’s transformation into the party of large corporations and the professional-managerial class is evident from its discomfort with low-wage workers being able to raise their earnings.

This is how Freeland and Trudeau are fighting the inflation they helped cause.

YouTube might be asked to manipulate algorithms under online streaming bill: CRTC chair

The chairman of Canada’s broadcast regulator says it might ask platforms such as YouTube to “manipulate” their algorithms to make Canadian music easier to find, under powers in the proposed online streaming bill.

Ian Scott told a Senate committee examining the bill that although the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission would not want to manipulate algorithms itself, it might tell platforms, “I want you to manipulate it (the algorithm) to produce particular outcomes.”

This won’t end well, they won’t stop at your personal hit parade. Google manipulates search results as it is. Imagine a Trudeau government calling the shots.

Thank God!

Today, the Supreme Court of the United States Supreme Court finally issued its ruling in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, upholding Mississippi’s 15-week abortion ban, overturning Roe v. Wade, and delivering the pro-life cause its most transformative victory since Roe unleashed nationwide abortion-on-demand nearly half a century ago.

Pelosi’s husband finally charged in DUI case

“A couple of weeks ago, we learned that Paul Pelosi, the husband of Speaker Nancy Pelosi, had gotten into a minor automobile accident and was subsequently suspected of having been driving while under the influence. At the time, very few details were being released by law enforcement and it wasn’t clear if he would even be charged with anything, despite reportedly having a blood-alcohol level above 0.8.“

Further Proof Joe Biden Is President Houseplant

Joe Biden ran his entire campaign in 2020 from his basement in Delaware. It was the Zoom candidacy, and often it was fair to assume his events were pre-taped and heavily edited. Utterances that would end anyone else’s candidacy–such as “if you don’t vote for me, you ain’t black,” and “poor kids are just as bright and talented as white kids”–barely hit the media’s radar. In reality, it was stunning that the Democrat party coalesced around an old white guy who worked with segregationists and had nearly 50 years of embarrassing gaffes and statements.

In Europe, the Left wins by forging an unholy alliance with Islam

The Left knows where the votes are, ideology be damned. That is the story in la Seine Saint-Denis, and as it goes, so goes Europe.

A few weeks ago, before the Champions League final at the Stade de France in Saint-Denis, football champion Thierry Henry shocked the public by saying that “Saint-Denis is not Paris”, before adding: “Believe me, not you would like to be in Saint-Denis, it’s not the same as Paris. . . “.

Yet, there was a time when half the population of Seine-Saint-Denis was Breton. It was a great immigration, coming from the peninsula which has its center in Rennes, a region of oak forests and stone huts topped by long chimneys. This is the France that is disappearing.

Today the Bretons represent only 11 percent of the population of Saint-Denis and are “in danger of extinction” for demographic reasons, while Saint-Denis has been changed by another immigration: extra-European.
