The Galveston National Laboratory (GNL), part of the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) and funded by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), focuses on “dangerous pathogens” with the “potential to be used as weapons around the world.”

This same GNL signed agreements with three Chinese labs, including the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV), that gave China the power to destroy “secret files, materials and equipment, without any backups. “The agreements applied to “all cooperation and exchange documents, data, details and materials,” were renewable every five years, and the confidentiality terms remaining in force even after termination.

In California’s largest race bias cases, Latino workers are accused of abusing Black colleagues

Nearly every day, the onetime Ontario warehouse employee said, he was stunned to hear racist slurs from Latino co-workers.

“They said it in English — they said it in Spanish all the time,” recalled Leon Simmons, a Black father of four with a deep voice and gentle manner. “When they look you right in the eye and call you the N-word to your face, that’s dehumanizing.”

Thirty-two miles away at a Moreno Valley warehouse, it was the same story. Another Black laborer, Benjamin Watkins, described how a Latina co-worker called to him: “‘Hey, monkey! Yeah, you!’ and waved a banana in her hand. A group of women burst out laughing.”

The video clip shows an asylum seeker allegedly raping a woman on the streets of Piacenza

Italy’s probable next prime minister has been accused of trying to score political points after sharing a video on social media of an African asylum seeker allegedly raping a white woman early on Sunday morning.

Giorgia Meloni, a far-right nativist politician from Rome who is tipped to become Italy’s first female premier next month, had made “horrendous propaganda” out of the alleged assault, her opponents said.

The migrant, from Guinea, allegedly attacked the 55-year-old Ukrainian woman as she walked along a street in the northern city of Piacenza at around 6am on Sunday.

Ottawa axes funding for racist “anti-racism” project over ‘vile’ tweets by consultant

Diversity Minister Ahmed Hussen says the government has cut funding to an anti-racism project over “reprehensible and vile” tweets by a senior consultant involved in the strategy.

Hussen says the project helmed by the Community Media Advocacy Centre – which received $133,000 from the Heritage Department – has been suspended.

This is bullshit. Marouf was hired because he is a racist.

Berkeley’s House of Color Shines Red Light at Whites

A sure way to create racial tensions on the University of California system’s flagship campus.

The university students at University of California Berkeley’s Person of Color (POC) Theme House love their rules. And they’re not pretty.

As Friday’s Daily Mail and Saturday’s Fox & Friends reported, this residence’s directives include this: “Many POC members moved here to be able to avoid white violence and presence, so respect their decision of avoidance if you bring white guests.”

Another instruction states, “Always announce guests in the [house’s] Guest Chat if they will be in common spaces with you and if they are white.”

Toof Fixed!

Caught a break. I chipped a front tooth on the weekend, well actually it was more like the tooth decided it had enough of this world and was slowly offing itself.

A filling fell out late last year, a chunk at the back fell out last month and on Saturday a big chunk at the side decided to separate. The cosmetics were awful.

The tooth is very thin and that was the cause of my concern. Much had been excavated at the back. Felt real weird.

I spent the weekend researching possible fixes and given that my default setting is ‘catastrophic thinking’ I was easily able to convince myself that a tooth implant was the only possible solution or maybe if God smiled upon me I could get away with a veneer.

After a few phone calls it was off to the Emergency Dentist.

Thankfully the Doc said neither a veneer nor an implant would be required.

The bonding process used, assuming a reasonable standard of hygiene, should last many years.

Yay! And Yay also to having Toronto’s only 24 hour Emergency Dentist a couple of blocks away.

A little after midnight, nearly 200 people blocked the streets in what has become a weekly ritual in the city. Two cars whipped around the intersection, burning tires and worn-down brake pads sending shrouds of thick smoke into the air.

The recent indictment of a member of the Iranian regime’s IRGC terror network for soliciting the assassination of former US National Security Advisor John Bolton provided a window into how Iran has targeted former Trump administration members.

3 Arkansas officers suspended after video of violent arrest emerges

Three cops in Arkansas were suspended after a video emerged that showed them brutally beating a detainee.

In the TikTok video posted on Twitter, one officer holds the man down to the ground as another repeatedly and relentlessly punches the man’s head and a third forcibly nails him with his knee multiple times in a row.

At one point, the officer punching the man in the head lifts the man’s head up from the ground and slams it back down into the cement sidewalk as the man tries to protect his head with his hands, the video shows.
