Crash between two Calgary Transit buses kills three, injures 10

Three people have been killed and another ten injured after a crash between two Calgary Transit buses in the northeast part of the city shortly after 1 p.m.

Police have blocked off all roads around the scene at 800 Saddletowne Cir. N.E., in front of Fire Station 32.

Western Standard reporter Jackson Loy, described the scene.

At least four dead including children in Oregon elementary school shooting: Multiple victims taken to hospital as gunman is shot and killed

At least four people, including children, have died after a gunman opened fire at an elementary school in Oregon, law enforcement sources told the Daily Mail.

Multiple victims were taken to the hospital, and the unidentified shooter was shot dead after gunfire broke out on Thursday afternoon at Silver Rail Elementary School in Bend. The four victims do not include the suspect.

Reports of shots fired into a vehicle near the school came in around 12.59pm, and at 1pm, the police department sent out an alert to respond to a critical scene.

"Several people were killed in a shooting at Silver Rail Elementary School in Bend… The suspect was shot and killed," CBS reported.

Here is what we know:

– Suspect was shot and killed, potentially by a bystander.

– At least two children were rushed to the hospital, according to Bend Police communications manager Sheila Miller.

– Police received a call at 1259pm local time, and the suspect was down seconds after officers arrived at 102pm.

– FBI is now on the scene.

Sean “Diddy” Combs’ loved ones are shutting down “completely false” reports he got into a fight with a Jamaican drug lord over the weekend.

Loren LoRosa told “Breakfast Club” listeners Thursday that she “spoke to a family member of” the embattled rapper’s family who insisted “there was not a fight at all” despite TMZ’s recent claim otherwise.

The denial comes after Combs, 56, was sent to a hospital Saturday for a head injury he incurred during his stay at the Fort Dix prison in New Jersey.

UK: Four out of five new jobs went to foreigners in the past decade, new report reveals

Four in five jobs created over the past decade have been taken by migrants.

Of the 3.7million new roles recorded under the PAYE system since 2014, just 734,000 were taken by UK nationals, a think-tank has found.

EU citizens accounted for 408,000 jobs, while the vast majority – 2.5million – went to migrants from the rest of the world, the Centre for Social Justice (CSJ) said, with most of the surge coming since the pandemic.

Shaffat Hussain accused of sexually assaulting two students while identifying himself as Grade 12 student

Toronto police have arrested Shaffat Hussain accused of sexually assaulting two students at a school last month.

Police said they initially got a call for a sex assault in the area of Danforth Avenue and Birchmount Road on Oct. 9.

Investigators then learned that a suspect entered a school on Sept. 30, identifying himself as a Grade 12 student.

Gerow, a podcaster and former deputy leader of the Libertarian Party of Canada, is addressing a crowd of Alberta separatists in a low-ceilinged conference room a few minutes’ drive from the Calgary airport. In his speech, called “the anarcho-capitalist case for Alberta,” he advocates for a system of government by the same name, which would privatize all aspects of society.
