Cambridge Dictionary has updated its definition of ‘woman’ to include anyone who “identifies as female” regardless of their sex at birth.
The online dictionary recently added a supplementary definition of a ‘woman’ which includes transgender people.
It now states that as well as definitions including an “adult female human being”, a woman can also be “an adult who lives and identifies as female though they may have been said to have a different sex at birth”.

Danny Maki was knocked down and left concussed following what appeared to be an accidental rough hit at the Team Trans Ice Hockey draft in Middleton, Wisconsin, late last month.
The incident has only just been reported by Quilette magazine, whose journalist Jonathan Kay suggested that the two-day tournament had been subjected to a woke cover-up.

A secessionist Sikh group is pressing Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to disavow calls from India’s envoy for Canada to crack down on funding of a movement to create a separate state in Punjab.
Sikhs for Justice, an organization headquartered in Washington, has written to Mr. Trudeau, disputing Indian High Commissioner Sanjay Kumar Verma’s recent comments to The Globe and Mail. Sikhs for Justice has been conducting referendums in Canadian cities on Punjab independence as part of a global campaign on the matter.
After 10 months without any leads as to who led a violent, coordinated attack on a pipeline work camp last February, the RCMP is hoping that the promise of a $100,000 reward will loosen some local tongues.
