The Most Rev Justin Welby said that he was twice summoned to Parliament over the issue as he blamed rising secularism for triggering the historic debate on blessings for gay and lesbian couples.

He also warned that the church should not be “dictated to”, “blackmailed” or “bribed” over the issue.

The centre, which has received at least £100,000 in Prevent funding, was visited frequently by the Duchess of Sussex in 2018. “Come navigate the fine line between legal activism and material support for terrorism.”

David Boim was only 17 years old when he was shot and killed while waiting at a bus stop north of Jerusalem.
