‘I just want what I paid for’: Ontario man says $112,000 truck has been in shop for months

When Ashley Martin from New Lowell, a community near Barrie, Ont., bought his dream truck a 2026 Ram Tungsten, he had no idea the litany of problems the pick-up would have. Even though he paid $112,000 for the luxury truck, he says issues with the new vehicle happened the same day he drove it home when a service light came on the dash.

“The first problem was on the way home on the day of purchase,” said Martin.

The truck eventually broke down at a stop sign and had to be towed back to the dealership.

What a nightmare.

Big names from many different walks of life — from musicians to late-night show hosts and from actors to podcasters — have fired back at Donald Trump over the tariffs he’s levied on Canadian goods and his move to rename Lake Ontario.

Most recently, the U.S. president signed an executive order renaming the lake “Lake America” in the U.S., following a bitter public spat with Ontario Premier Doug Ford and the collapse of trade talks between Canada and the United States.

Joe Rogan and George Clooney! Oh No! Time to pack it in President Trump.

Conservatives, critics slam Globe and Mail column’s call for reopening the immigration gates

CALGARY — A recent Globe and Mail column has become the latest flashpoint in the raging debate over immigration in Canada, as columnist Doug Saunders’ call to “rev up” the country’s immigration system has drawn harsh criticism from Conservative politicians and other commentators who say Canada is still reeling from the previous population surge.

Saunders is on the wrong side of history. I recall a few years ago he was extolling the multicultural virtues of the UK’s London.
