President Donald Trump has been praised after it was revealed woke American professors are being poached by Canadian universities, including an academic who teaches transgender philosophy.

California State University philosophy professor, Talia Mae Bettcher, who is transgender, is among the many American-based educators who have packed their bags and headed north to Canada to become a part of the $541 million research funding project.

‘I knew I had to leave,’ Bettcher, who is a native Canadian but taught in Los Angeles, told The University of Waterloo, her new home.

The man in question is Amer G., a Syrian asylum seeker who reportedly arrived in Germany in 2015 and has become known in Witten for publicly reciting verses from the Quran using a loudspeaker.

Sweden: Man Beaten to Death After Defending Daughter Against Gropers

A man in his 50s has died after being seriously assaulted outside a restaurant in Sweden after trying to defend his daughter from a group of young men who had been groping her.

Authorities have not yet released information about the suspects’ nationality, ethnicity, or background, raising the suspicion among social media users that the perpetrators may be migrants.

Police were called to the centre of the Swedish city of Karlstad at about 1.25 a.m. on Sunday, August 30th after a violent disturbance broke out outside a fast food restaurant.

More than 100 children aged 12 or under were referred to the British government’s Forced Marriage Unit between 2021 and 2025, new Home Office figures show.

The figures include 27 children aged five or under.

Dame Jasvinder Sanghera, a campaigner who escaped a forced marriage when she was 14, described the number of very young children as “deeply disturbing.”

She warned that some children could disappear from school because they had been taken away for a forced marriage.
