Fentanyl super labs in Canada pose new threat for U.S. opioid epidemic
At a rural property an hour outside Vancouver in October, Canadian police found 2.5 million doses of fentanyl and 528 gallons of chemicals in a shipping container and a storage unit. Six months earlier, they raided a home in a cookie-cutter Vancouver subdivision packed with barrels of fentanyl-making chemicals, glassware and lab equipment.
Thousands of miles away outside Toronto, police in August found what is believed to be the largest fentanyl lab so far in Canada — hidden at a property 30 miles from the U.S. border crossing at Niagara Falls, N.Y.

‘Hezbollah could attack now, they could attack in six months, they could attack in six years,’ he told The Times of Israel. ‘You can’t plan it.’
I have read where many more are expected to leave Europe where the situation is much more dangerous.

Organizers with Shut It Down for Palestine said the organization had focused its protests on the second-most popular shopping day of the year – the day before Christmas Eve – as part of ongoing civic and commercial disruptions. Organizers said they planned to “organize actions to boycott, disrupt and rally at commercial centers”.
Co-ordinators with Shut It Down for Palestine decried Israel’s assault on Gaza as one of “incredible cruelty”.

It seemed wildly unfair that it could take years and years to immigrate by the rules, especially when the applicant is working within the law and will bring something of value to the country – it will add to America’s greatness. That’s the southern chokepoint where the Red Sea squeezes between Yemen and Djibouti as it makes a left turn before reopening into the Gulf of Aden, Arabian Sea, and the open waters of the Indian Ocean beyond.

Glynn Simmons: US judge exonerates inmate after 48 years in prison
An Oklahoma judge has exonerated a man who spent 48 years in prison for a murder he didn’t commit, the longest known wrongful sentence in the US.
Glynn Simmons, 70, was freed in July after a district court found that crucial evidence in his case was not turned over to his defence lawyers.
On Monday, a county district attorney said there was not enough evidence to warrant a new trial.
In an order on Tuesday, Judge Amy Palumbo declared Mr Simmons innocent.

Does Biden Want Israel to Lose the War?
US President Joe Biden has gone out of his way — and it is enormously appreciated! — to stand by America’s ally Israel, defending itself from being further attacked by Hamas and other Iranian proxy groups in the region. The Biden administration has sent warships to the region, materiel to counter the more than 9,500 rockets and missiles fired at Israel since October 7, aimed at the cities of a country roughly the size of New Jersey. It is bewildering that he has come under so much unjust criticism for supporting a country that is basically also fighting for the US and the Free World against a terrorist group, Hamas, that apparently sees nothing wrong with burning babies alive, beheading them, raping and torturing men, women and children and then murdering them.
Sadly however, by reportedly demanding that Israel reduce its efforts to confront the Iran-backed terrorist group by January 1, Biden, presumably to help his reelection campaign, is seriously undermining Israel’s efforts. Such a curtailment would make it as difficult as possible — and risky — for Israel to fight what is already an extremely complicated war in complex urban areas, where Hamas has deeply embedded its weapons within the civilian population.

Broadcast networks are still angry about a bill signed into law Tuesday by Texas Governor Greg Abbott, which empowers state and local law enforcement to arrest and deport illegal aliens.
This is the second round of whining we’ve seen in response to this law; the first bout came when the Texas legislature passed the bill several weeks ago. At that time, the common refrain from talking heads was that the bill necessarily would lead to “racial profiling” and “discrimination.”
Feds, local officials issue health alerts over communicable diseases tied to migrant crisis
Federal, state and city health departments have issued public health alerts about increases of communicable diseases as illegal border crossers arrive in their communities.
Earlier this year, the New York City Health Commissioner instructed New York health-care providers to undergo several precautions and tests in light of “an alarming trend” of diseases spreading among illegal foreign nationals in New York City who arrived from the southern border. Dr. Ashwin Vasan expressed alarm about those arriving who hadn’t been vaccinated for polio or chickenpox and were coming from countries with high rates of infectious tuberculosis.
