A new survey has found that 78 percent of consumers now consider fast food to be a “luxury” purchase due to the rising costs of meals. The survey, conducted by LendingTree using nonprobability sampling, highlights the growing financial strain on many Americans.
More Democrats than Republicans say they want President Biden off the Democratic presidential ticket, according to a Rasmussen poll released Tuesday.
Some 54 percent of likely Democratic voters would approve of ditching Mr. Biden, and only 38 percent of Democrats would disapprove of doing so. A smaller number of Republicans — just 43 percent — say they would approve of the Democrats replacing Mr. Biden on the ticket.

A knife-wielding man in a blonde wig has stabbed four girls at an AMC theater before attacking a couple inside a McDonald’s near Boston, Massachusetts.
The suspect stabbed four girls, ages 9 to 17, at an AMC multiplex in Braintree at about 6 pm, before stabbing a 21-year-old female and a 29-year-old man at a McDonalds 30 miles away about an hour later.
