Democratic representative and “Squad” member Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), called for the arrest of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for what she alleges are violations of the Genocide Convention.
In a statement last week, Tlaib condemned the Israeli government for its current military operation in Rafah, in the southern Gaza strip, and insinuated that the US was complicit due to the funding it provides Israel.
Following their widely criticized rally in Hamburg in late April, where calls for the establishment of a caliphate were overheard and seen, over 2,300 Muslim protesters again gathered in the city last Saturday, German media report.
Organized by the Islamist group Muslim Interaktiv (MI), this latest rally, which most ironically railed against “censorship and opinions being dictated,” was held in the St. Georg district as a sizable police force looked on.

City of Ottawa officials said Israel’s flag will be raised Tuesday in a private event to mark the country’s national day.

One provocateur, in particular, has caught his attention of late: Gad Saad, a marketing professor at Concordia University in Montreal, and author of the book “The Parasitic Mind: How Infectious Ideas Are Killing Common Sense.”
Saad wants a better immigration policy for his Canada, one that requires a hard look at whether Islamist migrants should be included at all. That’s not a bad thing.
I doubt we would be welcomed in his circles however.
He is on the public record seeking a meeting with Poilievre to discuss immigration policy. If it happens I bet it will be behind closed doors and will not change Poilievre’s approach to mass immigration which when compared to Trudeau’s amounts to “Same, Same, Different.” Poilievre needs to run the same identity politics playbook as Trudeau to get elected. Under normal circumstances I believe Poilievre would lose the upcoming election to Junior. However Trudeau has shot himself in the head with the housing and affordability crisis so all Poilievre has to do is keep his finger off the trigger and speak of immigration in only the most harmless of generalities if at all.
Musk as we know is an opportunist currently riding the populist wave. He is a rent seeker extraordinaire albeit an entertaining one. Do not trust him, what you see is this year’s model.

The institutions have become too restrictive when it comes to controversial speech — and too lax when it comes to punishing rule-breaking
It was only a matter of time before America’s student protests spread to the UK. In Oxford, tents have been pitched on grass that, in ordinary times, no student is allowed to walk on. The ground outside King’s College in Cambridge looks like Glastonbury, complete with an “emergency toilet” tent. Similar camps can be found at UCL, Manchester University and more. There have been no clashes with police, but that may yet come. In Leeds, for example, pro-Palestinian students tried to storm a university building, leading to bloody clashes with security guards.
In spite recent claims by Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi that Iran harbors no intentions of pursuing nuclear weapons, along with a repeated fatwa from Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei supposedly banning nuclear weapons, it would be insane for Western powers naively to accept these assertions at face value.
While some leaders in the West may be inclined to regard such declarations lightly, the international community cannot afford to underestimate the potential threat posed by Iran’s nuclear ambitions, especially given the deceptive nature of the claims by the regime.

Caliphate protests in Hamburg: What is Muslim Interactive?
It’s estimated that some 1,000 people gathered at Hamburg’s popular street Steindamm late April, following a call to protests by an organization called Muslim Interactive (MI). Some demonstrators chanted “God is great,” and held up signs that read “caliphate is the solution,” and “Germany = a dictatorship of values.”
Public outcry was quick to follow, with many calling for the organization to be banned. A second demonstration is this weekend.
Necla Kelek is a sociologist and head of the Secular Islam Initiative, which is based in Hamburg. She said that she, like many others, had been surprised by the sudden demonstration that MI organized. Her organization joined others in putting together a counter-protest.

The European Commission is enabling a culture of horrific child abuse and is exporting the same destructive culture to Europe.
A 13-year-old Christian girl, Sania Amin, went missing on April 4 after she left home to buy groceries in Anjotar, a village in Pakistan’s Punjab province. Local eyewitnesses reported that three Muslims took her by force and dragged her through the streets. Pakistani police refused to register a “First Information Report” (FIR) for Sania’s abduction.
In 2019, Ron DeSantis appointed Brian Lamb, a former point guard at the University of South Florida, to the 17-member board of regents for the state university system. The Florida governor, when he made the pick, was clearly thinking more about his athletic accomplishments than his ideological principles, as Lamb soon afterward became head of diversity and inclusion at JPMorgan Chase. It therefore probably shouldn’t have been surprising when, after the death of George Floyd, Lamb sent a memo to all presidents of public colleges in Florida demanding they “prioritize and support diversity, racial and gender equity, and inclusion” and telling them that they would be held “accountable for policies, programs, and actions” in this area.
