Armed with his water gun and foul language, a truculent 14-year-old Arab boy called Hamza has become the unexpected sideshow of the Paris heatwave season.

Videos have gone viral showing the pudgy Algerian adolescent in swimming trunks terrorising Parisians along the crowded Canal Saint-Martin in the blistering summer heat. Shirtless and bare-foot, Hamza aims his water pistol at pedestrians and cyclists, extorting two euros (£1.70) from targets who are commanded to pay up or get sprayed.

‘All hell broke loose’: Witness recounts violent Beacon Hill Park attack

After three people were injured and two suspects were arrested in a violent attack Friday night, more details are emerging.

The incident happened just after 10 p.m. on July 3rd near Beacon Hill Park.

According to the VicPD, officers responded to a confrontation involving multiple people.

Terrorist linked to 7/7 bombings back on the streets

An Islamist terrorist linked to the 7/7 London bombings is back on the streets after being released from a secure mental health unit despite warnings that he is a major risk to public safety.

Haroon Aswat – who was jailed for 20 years for plotting to form an extremist training camp in 1999 – has been deemed a danger to national security by police.

However, a High Court judge ruled last year that the 50-year-old can be released from a south-east London mental hospital after completing treatment.

Muslim family living a ‘nightmare’ after false accusations of slaughterhouse on Ontario hobby farm

A Muslim family in Clarington, Ont., says it is living a “nightmare” after false allegations of an illegal slaughterhouse on its property transformed from online rumors into real-world harassment, threats and a planned protest.

Mohsin Bhuiyan, who has operated a small hobby farm in the community for the last year, says he and his family have been “terrorized” by those pushing misinformation about his property online, suggesting he is running an “illegal slaughterhouse” on site.

“We cannot sleep at night because they’re taking pictures. We do not know who is coming and who is passing by,” he told CBC News.

Court Finds Syrian Home Care Workers Abused Swedish Elderly People in Their Care

Two former home care workers of Syrian descent, Ghazi Jamal Eddin and Mohammad Kher Alhasan in Örebro have been convicted of filming and humiliating elderly people in their care, a case that has prompted Swedish MEP (Sweden Democrats/ECR) Charlie Weimers to call for the deportation of those responsible.

One of the culprits, Eddin, a 22-year-old Syrian man, was found guilty of 36 counts of offensive photography and seven counts of molestation after recordings showed him verbally abusing vulnerable residents while carrying out his duties. According to the district court, he repeatedly filmed elderly people in their own homes without their knowledge or consent, often targeting victims suffering from dementia, before sharing some of the recordings with others.

Yesterday, Andy Burnham made an important intervention when he demanded that ministers do everything possible to deport Shabir Ahmed, the ringleader of a Pakistani grooming gang. Reports earlier this week suggested that Ahmed, who has been convicted of 30 child rape offenses, could not be deported due to a legal loophole in the 1971 Immigration Act.

Vigilantes take to streets as grooming gang ringleader released

Vigilantes are taking to the streets of Rochdale after a Pakistani grooming gang ringleader was released from prison.

A group organised by local campaigner Billy Howarth will patrol the area in the coming days, with police remaining on standby.

Shabir Ahmed, 73, who was convicted of 30 child rape offences as part of the grooming gang, was released on Thursday and cannot be deported despite being stripped of his British citizenship.

‘I will kill everyone around you’: Threat to ex by father in double-murder suicide emerges

Police have identified the man who is believed to have killed his seven- and 12-year-old sons in his south Ottawa home and firebombed his dental practice in a nearby village before dying by suicide in a vehicle fire on Monday, as details of his threat to cause bodily harm to his ex-wife come to light.

CBC News had earlier learned that Mohammed Al-Lami, 40, was currently on active probation for threatening to cause bodily harm to his ex-wife, the mother of the boys, in 2024, according to Ottawa court records.

5Pillars editor calls for ‘mass physical training program’ for Muslims

The editor of a British news site widely described as Islamist has called for a “mass physical training program” for Muslims to defend themselves.

Roshan Salih, the founding editor of 5Pillars, said in a podcast that “we need to have a mass physical training program within the Muslim community, every single mosque providing that training, every single community center, money being poured into physically training Muslims.” He added that this would mean “we are the fittest community in this country, the strongest community in this country, and the community that is most able to defend itself in this country.”
