Humanity’s constant and, by the laws of physics, the unavoidable inclination is to minimize energy use. We naturally take the shortest route between two points. Just like a rock flying through space moves along a straight line, our bodies and minds naturally seek the shortest distance, shortest time, least energy consumption, or least costly manner to complete all tasks facing us. This is “the principle of least action.” This principle goes a long way to explaining the Left’s hostility to Jews and support for Hamas and its fellow travelers.

The entire world shared their views on the Jews and Israel after October 7.

We are living through times where too many stand with the Barbarians. Why do people CHOOSE to stand with evil? For surely that is what is happening when western countries stand with Muslim countries against Israel’s right to exist. When US college students demonstrate for Hamas. The question is “which Israel”? What are the borders to which they disagree?

I don’t think Israel has much of a choice. Go it alone and get used to it.

They are increasingly isolated and know first hand that nothing they can do or say will assuage their enemies hatred.

I find some of their “Canadian” outreach to be questionable though it may be deemed necessary due to the diaspora’s declining public & political capital.

Allying with Canada’s Hindus against pro-Khalistan Sikhs as some grass-roots organizations have done is not a good look given the vicious persecution Christians face in India.

Oh well.

For months, Israel has refuted libelous claims of famine in Gaza, as international organizations — especially the UN and the EU, the International Court of Justice and mainstream media alongside NGOs such as Human Rights Watch — pushed the false, malicious narrative that Israel was causing famine in Gaza and even using it as a “weapon of war.” Israel might have saved itself the effort. No one was listening.

The mass attack against Israel came from all sides, coordinated by Iran. Lebanon fired tens of thousands of missiles and sent combat units across the border. Syria, Yemen, Iraq all sent missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles. Meanwhile from Gaza, Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad followed, firing so many missiles as to overwhelm the Iron Dome.

If you think that the Palestinian Authority (PA) or any Arab state would agree to take control of the Gaza Strip as long as the Iran-backed terrorist group Hamas has not been totally destroyed and removed from power, you would be wrong.

Removing the military and governing capabilities of Hamas, however, unfortunately cannot be achieved as long as the Biden administration and Western countries keep exerting pressure on Israel to halt the war, which erupted after the Hamas-led October 7, 2023 attack that resulted in the murder of 1,200 Israelis and the abduction of more than 240 others as hostages.

An Ontario court has granted an injunction to the University of Toronto to clear a pro-Palestinian encampment on school property.

The Ontario Superior of Court of Justice ruled Tuesday that protesters must take down tents in an area known as King’s College Circle by Wednesday at 6 p.m.

The order by Justice Markus Koehnen also gives Toronto police the authority to arrest and remove anyone who refuses to comply with the court order.

At this point I doubt anyone cares much.

If we are trying to decipher what a Labour government will mean for British policy towards Israel, and the impact of such policy here in the UK, it probably makes sense to look at the most recent opportunity for Labour politicians to demonstrate where they stand. In that context, one could make a plausible case that the most important support by any British politician of Israel’s right to self-defence after the massacre of October 7 – and thus of its having spent the past eight months hunting down Hamas in Gaza – has come from Sir Keir Starmer.

Toronto Police are hunting a suspect wanted for two acts of alleged hate-motivated vandalism at North York synagogues.

Officers were called to the Bathurst St.-Dewlane Dr. area on Sunday at 3 a.m. after a vandal threw rocks through the front windows of a synagogue. The vandal fled on a motorcycle.
