Canada’s acceptance of Palestinian refugees from Gaza is setting off alarm bells south of the border.
In a letter Wednesday to U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, United States Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) expressed concern over the program, which he warned could lead to an increased risk of allowing individuals with ties to terror groups easy access to the United States.

Montreal is not what it used to be. Nothing better illustrates the perversity of the Biden administration’s attitude to the Gaza conflict that, at the same time that Washington is limiting arms exports to Israel, the US is increasing its aid to the Palestinian Authority.
One of the key lessons that the US should have learned from Hamas’s deadly terrorist attack against Israel on October 7, in which 1,200 Israelis were murdered and more than 250 taken captive and held as hostages in Gaza, is that aid donations made by foreign donors invariably end up being used to fund Palestinian terrorists.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu mocked campus protesters opposed to his nation’s war effort as “Iran’s useful idiots” during a joint address to Congress on Wednesday — as he urged the US to remain steadfast in its support to eliminate Hamas terrorists .
“Many anti-Israel protesters, many choose to stand with evil, they stand with Hamas, they stand with rapists and murderers,” Netanyahu declared during his almost hour-long speech to Senate and House lawmakers.

Conducted by Leger for the Association for Canadian Studies, the poll found some 70 per cent of Canadians surveyed agreed officials were right to have police and private security dismantle two encampments in Montreal, one at McGill University, the other in downtown Victoria Square.

JERUSALEM, July 22 (Reuters) – The Israeli parliament gave preliminary approval on Monday to a bill that declares the main United Nations relief organization for Palestinians a terrorist organisation and proposes to sever relations with the body.
The vote against the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) is the latest step in a Israeli push against the agency, which Israeli leaders have accused of collaborating with the Islamist movement Hamas in Gaza.
Israel’s rapid progress in dismantling Hamas’s last remaining stronghold in Gaza exposes the counterproductive role played by Justin Trudeau and do-gooders of his ilk, who needlessly stonewalled the Rafah operation earlier this year.
Thomas Portes, a deputy for far-left La France Insoumise (LFI) stated on Saturday that “Israeli athletes are not welcome to the Olympic Games in Paris.” Speaking at a pro-Palestine demonstration, Portes said, “We are a few days away from an international event which will be held in Paris, which is the Olympic Games. I am here to say that no, the Israeli delegation is not welcome in Paris. … we must use all the levers we have to create mobilization.”
