TORONTO — Nearly two-thirds of Canadians say they support health-care workers refusing treatment to threatening or disrespectful patients who are unvaccinated against COVID-19, according to a new survey from Nanos Research.
The poll, conducted by Nanos Research and sponsored by CTV News, found that 40 per cent of Canadians support and 24 per cent somewhat support health-care workers refusing treatment to these patients.
Just how many health care workers have been attacked? A few I’ll wager but not enough to warrant this silly “survey”.
It’s quite something that New Brunswick has attempted to flat-out ban Thanksgiving gatherings this year and in Alberta their policy is that you can’t invite the non-vaccinated over. Thankfully the tone is milder here in Ontario, but that hasn’t stopped officials from still trying to inject their wisdom into family celebrations.
