Seven Liberal cabinet ministers will be removed for their portfolios in a cabinet shuffle expected to take place Wednesday, Global News has learned.
As first reported by CBC and confirmed by Global News, Public Safety Minister Marco Mendicino, Justice Minister David Lametti, and Treasury Board President Mona Fortier are expected to be shuffled out.
As an RCMP officer, William Majcher, 60, used fake identities to infiltrate organized crime groups to investigate money laundering. He even went undercover to help the FBI to build a case against a Colombian drug cartel, knowing that if he was outed, a bounty would be put on his head.
After leaving the national police force in 2007, Majcher moved to Hong Kong, where he helped create a firm called Evaluate Monitor Investigate Deter Recover (EMIDR) in 2016. The company’s raison d’etre was to help China and its corporations recover assets it alleged were stolen, Majcher said in previous interviews.

Depending on your viewpoint, the Trudeau government cabinet shuffle this Wednesday will either be a refresh for the government or the political equivalent of shuffling deck chairs on the Titanic. Either way, it will be a different set of ministers and different set of portfolios by lunchtime Wednesday.

Those senior government sources say the shuffle is intended to put the focus on the government’s economic priorities and shore up the cabinet ahead of the next federal election campaign. The government also wants to put key communicators on important files.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has called ministers back to Ottawa for meetings on Monday and Tuesday, said sources with knowledge of the shuffle who are not authorized to speak publicly.
Assuming a few relatively sane liberals exist then this may signal Junior’s effort to clean house of dissenters.

Inflation is down, officially, but consumers will be forgiven for not celebrating.
While Canada’s consumer price index fell from 3.4% in May to 2.8% in June, the cost of groceries was 9.1% above where it had been a year earlier.
True, the rate of inflation on groceries was 10.4% in January, so 9.1% today is better. But excuse me if I’m not all that grateful, given that essential groceries such as eggs, pasta, butter and meat are as much as 40% above where they were this time last year.
A new economic report from TD says Canada is falling behind the standard-of-living curve compared to its peers.
According to the report published last week, Canada has been lagging behind the U.S. and other advanced economies in terms of standard of living performance (or real GDP per capita), despite recent years of “headline growth.”

He’s made it clear that Canada stands for the sexual mutilation of children and the on demand surrender of your kids to perverts of all stripes.
He’s made Canada the world’s biggest DEI experiment by destroying our nation’s heritage and values in the name of diversity & multiculturalism all while importing the 3rd World with all its prejudices, hate for western values & conflicts.
He’s making good on his promise of equality for all by ensuring most Canadians can’t afford food and shelter.

In 2014, as Beijing was ramping up Operation Fox Hunt, a sprawling campaign to go after corrupt politicians and economic criminals hiding overseas, a representative of the Chinese government approached William Majcher.
A retired former undercover officer with the RCMP, Mr. Majcher had been living in Hong Kong for seven years, working as a corporate investigator and advising banks on money laundering. According to Mr. Majcher, he was invited to meet someone “very close to senior state security,” who asked him whether he would be able to help track down money stolen by corrupt officials.
A retired RCMP officer has been charged with foreign interference, the Mounties said in a news release Friday.
William Majcher, 60, “allegedly used his knowledge and his extensive network of contacts in Canada to obtain intelligence or services to benefit the People’s Republic of China,” the RCMP in Montreal said in the news release.
The release alleged that Majcher “contributed to the Chinese government’s efforts to identify and intimidate an individual outside the scope of Canadian law.”
