President Donald Trump signed a memorandum authorizing a “military mission for sealing the southern border of the United States and repelling invasions,” giving the U.S. military the ability to occupy public land along the border in order to secure it.

The directive, released late Friday, allows the military to use federal lands for military activities, including constructing border barriers and using “detection and monitoring equipment” to deter would-be migrant invaders.

Vincent “Rocco” Vargas was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles, California. Vincent Vargas is a giant of a man who fills the screen from his home ‘operations room’ throughout our interview. He refuels on protein bars as we talk, while making it clear just how plausible he was as an army sergeant (in real life) or as the Capitan Del Camino of a fictional outlaw biker gang (on Mayans M.C.). His fame acquired from appearing in films and on TV also guaranteed publicity for his SPAD appointment. While good-humoured—and slightly disappointed he can’t also offer me a protein bar—it’s clear he is entirely serious about going back into homeland security. Could he really be giving up acting to concentrate on a real-life role in Border Patrol?

NEW YORK — When Sheidriany Pomales was scrolling TikTok during a break from her job at a kindergarten, she came across a video that made her stomach sink. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers were hanging around the entrance to the subway on 125th Street and Lexington — right next to where Pomales, her mother and many of their friends live.

She quickly exited the app and called her mom with a warning and a request that she pass the information along. Her mom used WhatsApp to reach out to undocumented friends and co-workers who made plans to take alternate routes to work or skip errands such as grocery shopping. Pomales made her own video about the alleged sighting on her go-to social platform, TikTok, using the algospeak code phrase “ice cream truck” instead of ICE or the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency.

Why does Media hype the cost of securing the border but refuses to discuss the cost of open borders?

Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that as many as 300 foreign students have had their visas revoked due to President Donald Trump’s immigration crackdown.

Rubio confirmed the number of revoked visas when speaking at a press conference in Guyana.

Rachel DelGuidice at Fox News reports that Time magazine is upset that ICE has detained an illegal immigrant they touted in their “Time100” most influential people of 2017. She’s been caught up in “Donald Trump’s politicized deportation crackdown,” as if Time never politicized immigration under Trump.

US President Donald Trump’s administration has said it will revoke the temporary legal status of more than half a million migrants from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua and Venezuela.

Migrants without a legal basis to remain have been warned to leave the country before their work permits and deportation shield are cancelled on 24 April, according to a notice posted by the federal government.

The 530,000 migrants were brought into the US under a Biden-era sponsorship process known as CHNV that was designed to open legal migration pathways. Trump suspended the programme once he took office.
