Canadian parents pull kids from class after mandatory ‘non-binary’ drag presentation

JEDDORE OYSTER PONDS, Nova Scotia (LifeSiteNews) — Parents in the eastern Canadian province of Nova Scotia have pulled their children from class after a “non-binary” male drag performer gave a compulsory presentation on “gender identity” to kids as young as 12.

On October 18, a number of parents at Oyster Pond Academy kept their children home from school after learning that a “non-binary” drag performer called Teo Ferguson had given their children a “gender identity” presentation that students were not allowed to opt out of.

The hostile male takeover of women’s sports

Looks like he’s gonna rip her head off!

No sport, it seems, is safe from trans ideology. Darts has become the latest to be rocked by a trans-related controversy. At the weekend, biological male Noa-Lynn van Leuven became the first transgender player to book a spot in the PDC World Darts Championships, which will take place later this year. In doing so, van Leuven will take one of just two places that are reserved at the championships for women.

Civil servants sued by colleague over claims transgender people can’t change sex

Two civil servants are being sued by a colleague who claims their view that transgender people cannot change their sex is discriminatory.

It marks the latest row in the Whitehall “culture wars” in which civil servants who believe that sex cannot be changed feel they are victims of a “witch hunt” by “bullies with a dangerous agenda”.

The case will go to court on Tuesday to determine if the civil servant who is bringing the claim can remain anonymous.

MERLE: Here’s why Balgonie female changing room scandal is a game-changer for parents rights

It’s long been argued that the vapid entitlement of sexual minorities was galloping over the sex-based rights of biological females. The Balgonie Grade 7 Female Changing Room Scandal unequivocally confirmed it.

In a groundbreaking piece published by the Western Standard, numerous Balgonie parents came forward to share the indignities being suffered by their daughters. Parents emphasized the utter distress of their girls, forced to share a changing room — during puberty, no less — with a pair of biological boys. Or, given the choice to self-exclude and use the gender-neutral changing room.

Why Is Reddit Facilitating At-Home Gender Transitions?

The popular website Reddit is home to thousands of message-board communities, on which users discuss everything from TV shows to sports teams to science and technology. But Reddit also hosts a “TransDIY” (for “do it yourself”) forum dedicated to at-home gender medicine that facilitates hormone transitions without doctor supervision. To prevent grave harm to vulnerable children—and to comply with state law—Reddit should shut down this forum of more than 76,000 users.

After ‘Gays Against Groomers’ stunt, Colorado halts honorary flag program

At first glance, the certificates looked inconspicuous, appearing similar to the hundreds granted under a Colorado program that allows private citizens, public officials and other groups to request honorary flags flown over the state Capitol.

But these two certificates, dated Oct. 1, led state officials to pause the more than 20-year-old program this week.

“The people of Colorado present this flag to Gays Against Groomers with thanks and recognition for all their work to protect children,” the certificates read.

They are on the right side.

Report: The Military’s Obsession With DEI Politics Is Hampering Its Readiness

The main mission of the U.S. military is to protect American lives and interests domestically and abroad with the most capable personnel available. But what happens when that objective gets sidelined in favor of advancing a neo-Marxist agenda?

According to a recently published report by Will Thibeau, director of the American Military Project at the Claremont Institute, the U.S. military’s embrace of radical left-wing orthodoxy is hampering its overall readiness and ability to respond to an increasingly volatile geopolitical environment. Titled, “Identity in the Trenches: The Fatal Impact of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion on U.S. Military Readiness,” the analysis explores how the military’s heightened obsession with racial and gender politics is contributing to these growing problems.

Rape crisis centre CEO resigns over failure to protect single-sex spaces

So the feminists — the terfs, the bigots, the bullies — were right. According to a report commissioned by Rape Crisis Scotland, Edinburgh Rape Crisis Centre (ERCC) has not been putting rape survivors first. For the past 16 months, women-only services have not been made available for those who need them. Meanwhile, ERCC’s former chief executive officer, Mridul Wadhwa, has now resigned after being accused of “not understand[ing] the limits of her role” and “fail[ing] to set professional standards of behaviour”.

The week that sent trans fanatics into retreat

Aftershocks can occur days or even weeks after an earthquake. So it is, it seems, with the Cass Review.

Five months on from the “Big Bang” moment in April when Dr Hilary Cass’s findings reset the terms of the trans rights debate, some of the most significant reverberations were felt this week.

Cass’s report warned of a “toxic” debate in which parents felt forced to allow their children to change gender, fearing they would otherwise be labelled transphobic. At the time, the findings by Cass, a leading paediatrician, were roundly criticised by trans activists. But now the narrative is changing.

Hopefully Canada catches up one day.

Breastfeeding expert facing legal action for criticising “trans” male who fed his baby chemically induced nipple secretions

Jasmine Sussex is being taken to the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal (QCAT) for “vilification” over comments she made on X about a man who calls himself Jennifer Buckley and claims to be a “transgender” woman, but is refusing to back down and will defend the claim with the help of the Human Rights Law Alliance.

Irish teacher jailed for third time after defying order to stay away from the school that fired him for questioning Transgender zealotry

LONDON (AP) — A teacher in Ireland who says he was fired for his views on gender has been jailed for a third time for refusing to stay away from the school where he used to work.

Enoch Burke was found in contempt by a High Court judge on Monday for violating a court injunction barring him from Wilson’s Hospital School in Mullingar, about 50 miles (80 kilometers) west of Dublin.

He was suspended by the school in 2022 after publicly objecting to what he called “transgender ideology” and refusing to address a trans student by their preferred name and pronoun. He was later fired, and has launched an appeal.

Avoidable Valentina Petrillo debacle will rock Paralympics thanks to institutional cowardice

Bewilderment over how father-of-two, who won 11 Italian men’s titles, allowed to line up at Paralympics for T12 400m as a woman

“This was a dream,” says Valentina Petrillo, who today became a Paralympic sprinter at the age of 51, “that I had since I was a little girl.” Except this is an athlete who was never a little girl in the first place. The Italian is a father-of-two who was still competing at 45 as a male, who won national titles in men’s track and field, and whose self-portrayal in 2021 was of a “tough guy who would speak dismissively of women, who would have given you the idea he was sexist”. And yet on Monday morning at the Stade de France, Petrillo, courtesy of institutional cowardice at every level, lined up in the visually-impaired classification of the 400 metres as a woman.

Australian court rules man is a woman

Oz Court Says This Guy Is A Woman

A transgender woman from Australia has won a discrimination case against a women-only social media app, after she was denied access on the basis of being male.

The Federal Court found that although Roxanne Tickle had not been directly discriminated against, she was a victim of indirect discrimination – which refers to when a decision disadvantages a person with a particular attribute – and ordered the app to pay her A$10,000 ($6,700; £5,100) plus costs.
