Hundreds of transgender federal prisoners are living in fear after a ’roundup’ that will send them packing to men’s lockups following a day-one executive order from President Donald Trump.
Now lawyers are desperately trying to find a way to fight the order, saying the prisoners will have ‘a target on their backs’ as they move in with hardened male inmates.

Canada’s transgender advocates are calling on Ottawa to provide a safe haven to gender-diverse residents of the United States after President Donald Trump signed an executive order saying
Washington now only recognizes two sexes: male and female.
A person’s biological classification is “immutable,” the order says, and gender identity will no longer be acknowledged by the U.S. government.

President Trump, in an early move to redeem scores of campaign promises, will reportedly sign an executive order today defining “woman” as “adult human female” and removing “gender ideology extremism” from the federal government.
The order, titled ““Defending Women from Gender Ideology Extremism and Restoring Biological Truth to the Federal Government,” would end the practice of housing biological males who identify as women in women’s prisons and eliminate the gender neutral “X” option on federal identifications like passports. Citizens would be forced to check either male or female, and the gender must “reflect biological reality and not self-assessed gender identity.”

A British Columbia high school has reopened single-sex washrooms after originally leaving only gender-neutral options available to students, following an outcry from concerned parents.
The administration at Pleasant Valley Secondary School in Armstrong, B.C., has now designated two of its three newly opened gender-neutral washrooms as single-sex, in response to parents’ concerns about student privacy and safety.
One of the most insidious assertions of the pro-trans left is that those who oppose puberty blockers, wrong-sex hormones, and other pseudo-scientific medical interventions for trans-identifying youth have “blood on their hands.” This is because, such ideologues claim, children deprived of this purported “medical care” are more likely to kill themselves.
The fallaciousness of such declarations, however, is becoming more evident in light of acknowledgments from some unlikely sources in the media and medical establishment.

There is a tiny rural township in Ontario, Canada, just over the border from the US state of Minnesota, that glories in the name of Emo. A case on ‘gender-affirming care’ has the potential to unravel decades of legal protections for women and girls.
On Wednesday this week, the US Supreme Court will hear oral arguments in the case of United States v Skrmetti – a case during which the court will confront the question of whether women and girls exist as a sex class.
This is ostensibly a case about whether a US state (Tennessee) may constitutionally prohibit the provision of puberty blockers and opposite-sex hormones for under-18s. For that reason alone, it’s hugely important.
An Ontario teen who was suspended from his Catholic high school over his views on gender has had his request for a court review of the school’s decision dismissed.
Josh Alexander was in Grade 11 at St. Joseph’s Catholic High School in Renfrew, Ont., when he was suspended in 2022 for saying there are only two genders during a discussion in math class, as well as for organizing a student walkout protesting biological boys being allowed to use the girls’ washroom. He was also accused of bullying.

It’s someone with such elevated levels of testosterone that they were told to take hormone suppressants if they wanted to kick a ball again. Yes, the BBC’s female footballer of 2024 is someone whose femaleness has been called into question by some experts. They’re taking the piss now, aren’t they?
A prominent woman in American public life was openly threatened with death last week. A man posted a sick video on Instagram in which he fantasised about grabbing her by her ‘ratty looking fucking hair’ and repeatedly bashing her face into the floor until ‘the blood’s everywhere and you’re dead’. How did the right-on respond to this vile act of misogynist rage? Did they offer the woman in question their solidarity, damn the man who menaced her, promise to stand firm against the scourge of violence against women? Nope. They went after the woman herself. They called her a bully, a ‘cunt’, ‘hormonal’, a pox on the republic and ‘one of the worst people in the country’. I guess #MeToo’s over then?
