Thousands of people registered and voted in Georgia using addresses of postal facilities or businesses, but making it look like they were residential addresses, according to a former Trump campaign official whose team analyzed the states’ voter data.

The addresses listed on the voter rolls included information that didn’t make sense for the actual locations, but on paper made the addresses look like residential ones, according to information published by Matt Braynard, former data and strategy director for President Donald Trump’s 2016 election campaign.

Most Canadians want Canada to stand up to China when issues seen as our national values — the rule of law, human rights, and democracy — are on the line, a new opinion survey suggests.

The bullish feeling towards China was expressed by 83 per cent of respondents in a public opinion poll on Canadian views on Asia conducted by Ekos Research Associates for the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada, a Vancouver-based not-for-profit organization.

Homicide detectives have a ‘person of interest’ in the Barry and Honey Sherman murder investigation

Toronto Police have “a person of interest” in the Barry and Honey Sherman murder investigation, the Star has learned through a court proceeding to unseal search warrants in the almost three-year-old case.

Police say they will not publicly identify the individual, both because that could hurt their investigation and — if they are wrong — it would prejudice the interests of an innocent person.

“It could compromise the investigation if the perpetrator knew they were identified. It could precipitate flight, they could take steps to get rid of evidence, frustrate our investigation,” said homicide Det. Const. Dennis Yim, the only full-time investigator on the Sherman case. Yim was testifying as part of an ongoing process where the Toronto Star is seeking to unseal search warrant material that details aspects of the case. Some documents were released last week; more than 1,000 pages remain under seal.

Family of greedy pig provincial bureaucrats involved in theft of $11M of COVID-19 relief funds, Ontario government claims

A Toronto couple and their two adult sons, who all worked as Ontario government computer specialists, are alleged to have been involved in the theft of more than $11 million in COVID-19 relief funds, the Star has learned.

Sanjay Madan, earned $176,608 last year. It just wasn’t enough for the greedy pig.

According to documents filed with the Ontario Superior Court, “some or all of” Sanjay Madan, Shalini Madan, their sons Chinmaya Madan and Ujjawal Madan, and their associate Vidhan Singh, allegedly perpetrated “a massive fraud” by funneling millions of dollars in pandemic payments to a slew of bank accounts.

While the Ontario Provincial Police Anti-Rackets Branch is investigating, no criminal charges have been laid.

The allegations have not been proven in court.

Seattle City Council Slashes Police Budget

The Seattle City Council on Monday approved a massive budget cut to the city’s police department, which Mayor Jenny Durkan (D.) indicated she would sign next week.

As part of the 2021 fiscal year’s budget, the council slashed the Seattle Police Department’s funding by 18 percent. As a result, Seattle police will no longer have the authority to respond to 911 emergency calls and enforce parking violations. Overtime and training programs will be cut, and dozens of empty positions will go unfilled.
