Earth Day is Killing Us

Earth Day destroyed more of America than any environmental catastrophe ever could.

Grouches complain that a lot of fake holidays are created by companies, but Earth Day is actually a fake holiday created by a sharp Madison Avenue ad agency, and the name comes to us from the same guy who coined, “Timex: It takes a licking and keeps on ticking”.

The Earth takes a licking much better than Timex watches, but it’s the job of ad agencies to convince us that consumer products are permanent, while the world is ephemeral.

Big tech bankrolls BLM Grifter’s PAC, charities in exchange for support

Big Tech has showered Black Lives Matter co-founder Patrisse Khan-Cullors’ PAC and charities with millions in donations — and censors her online critics — as she backs their battle to control the internet.

Philanthropists linked to Facebook, Twitter and Netflix have donated more than $7.5 million to a host of non-profits controlled by Khan-Cullors, who has helped them lobby for “net neutrality.”

Why Containment Can Stop the China Threat

Why Containment Can Stop the China Threat

IN 1947, Walter Lippmann wrote a small book called The Cold War: A Study in U.S. Foreign Policy. Based on a series of newspaper columns, it was hardly an endorsement of American strategy in the U.S.-Soviet rivalry. Lippmann, rather, wrote his volume in response to George Kennan’s “X Article,” published in Foreign Affairs earlier that year, in which Kennan outlined the concept of containment. Lippmann, at the time perhaps America’s most prominent pundit, issued a blistering critique of that concept, calling it a “strategic monstrosity” that would fail at an exorbitant price. Containment, he wrote, “cannot be made to work” and “the attempt to make it work will cause us to squander our substance and our prestige.” One of the first prophets of American defeat in the Cold War was the man who gave that conflict its name.

Texas sheriff warns that border crisis is ‘unsustainable’ with his deputies unable to stop ranches suffering hundreds of thousands of dollars of damage as migrants cut fences

A sheriff in Texas has called the border crisis ‘unprecedented’ and said that migrants are causing costly damage to ranches in his community.

‘Right now, we’re seeing something unprecedented, I’ve worked in this county for 35 years, and we are seeing a vast number of human smuggling events there,’ Kinney County Sheriff Brad Coe told Fox & Friends on Friday.

Kinney County is a mostly rural area bordering the Rio Grande River, with a population of just 3,600, but is near the busy Del Rio border crossing.

I Left Islam for Liberal Values. Now Woke Liberals Are Embracing a New Religion

I was raised in a religious Muslim home and practiced the faith for a long time. Eventually, I realized I was not a religious man, after spending a long time educating myself, immersed in our texts. Certain things bothered me after I investigated them deeply. I felt the hijab was misogynistic, and I opposed the strain of violence that had emerged from our holy books. Then there were the blasphemy laws outlined in the Quran, which seemed like the opposite of the liberal values I believe in. As a secular man, I went about my life, working as a contractor for the Canadian military for over a decade in Kosovo, Sudan, Bosnia, Haiti, and then Afghanistan. I encountered other Muslims, and others like me, who were no longer Muslim. But when I came back to Canada in 2014, I returned to a different country than the one I had left.

Pentagon UFO report: They ‘acknowledged the reality,’ whistleblower says

The US government is actually gearing up to share information about the “reality” of UFOs with the public — and not a moment too soon, says the man who claims to have run the Pentagon’s UFO program for 9 years.

Former President Donald Trump’s $2.3 trillion appropriation bill for 2021 contained a mandate that the Pentagon and spy agencies must file a report about “unidentified aerial phenomena” or UAP. Most of us just call them flying saucers or UFOs.

MSNBC’s Joy Reid defends Ma’Khia Bryant and says she must have been ‘scared’ when she lunged at another girl with a knife

…During her broadcast of ‘The ReidOut’ on MSNBC on Thursday, Joy made an argument defending Bryant’s actions before the shooting.

‘We don’t know the details of what happened beforehand but I’m bothered that no one is asking what could’ve scared a 16-year-old girl enough that she felt that she had to grab a kitchen knife facing two adult women,’ Reid said.

‘No one’s asking what would’ve scared a kid who’s in a foster situation so much that she felt that she needed to defend herself or pick up a knife,’ she added.

Conrad Black: Erin O’Toole’s tacit support for COVID policy has been a grievous mistake

Conrad Black: Erin O’Toole’s tacit support for COVID policy has been a grievous mistake

Expanding on the last several weeks’ columns here, the federal Liberals apparently believe that just 20 months after the last election, they can win back a majority on the basis of their handling of the COVID pandemic and of the much declaimed “existential crisis” of climate change. They will probably be justified in their confidence if the Conservatives, the most unsuccessful principal political party in any important country in the world, allow them to get away with such a spurious reformulation of these issues. In fact, Canada’s entire political community voluntarily panicked with great shared enthusiasm at the arrival of the novel coronavirus, and unanimously agreed with the general drift in the Western countries towards an almost total shutdown of the country in order to “flatten the curve.”

The Dirty ‘Great Reset’ Secret Behind Big Corporations’ New War Against Conservatives

The Dirty ‘Great Reset’ Secret Behind Big Corporations’ New War Against Conservatives

In recent months, hundreds of large corporations and financial institutions have rallied around liberal causes and even put policies into place directly targeting conservatives or their views.

For example, on April 14, hundreds of the largest corporations and financial institutions in the world, including Amazon, Google, Netflix, and Starbucks, signed a statement opposing “discriminatory legislation” that aims to make elections more secure—an apparent reference to commonsense reforms like the ones recently passed in Georgia, which include a requirement that voters provide a driver’s license or free state identification card to prove their identity prior to casting a ballot.

Dear White Women: Here’s Why It’s Hard to Be Friends With You (Or Black woman blames White women and men for everything…)

How white women’s covert aggression turns them into a Black woman’s nightmare

…White women are socialized to keep the status quo. They maintain the patriarchy by “knowing their place” while at the same time relying on white supremacy to keep some sort of power. Their internalized misogyny and (often subconscious) racism teaches them to use the backs of Black women as stairs they need to use to climb closer to the top of the white-male-made hierarchy. However, white men, especially white, cis, straight men, will always be at the top.

Isn’t it great to blame your fucked up friendship crushing personality on others!

Indonesian navy finds items from missing submarine, no hope of finding survivors

Indonesia’s navy says items have been found from a missing submarine, indicating the vessel with 53 crew members has sunk with no hope of finding survivors.

Navy Chief Yudo Margono said rescuers found several items including parts of a torpedo straightener, a grease bottle believed to be used to oil the periscope and prayer rugs from the submarine.

“With the authentic evidence we found believed to be from the submarine, we have now moved from the ‘sub missing’ phase to ‘sub sunk’,” Admiral Margono said at a press conference in Bali where the found items were displayed.

Hope it was quick. h/t Mauser
