Signs accumulating that Dems want to ease Biden out

A corner seems to have been turned, with Democrats and their media mouthpieces more and more openly realizing that Biden’s dementia is a problem. Perhaps it was his leaking via bigmouth racial demagogue Al Sharpton that he plans to run for re-election in 2024, which would be a disaster. His miserable track record as incumbent is bad enough, while his inability to handle himself in public speaking engagements has worsened. The now-infamous “Where’s Jackie” incident can’t be dismissed as a slip of the tongue.

The Church of Everyone

Why so many Catholics are leaving.

Pope Francis recently called for a “Church open to everyone.” Nothing new here. The Church has always been open to everyone—including sinners. The Church has always acknowledged that it is “a Church of sinners.”

But when Francis says “open to everyone” he seems to have something else in mind. Traditionally, when Catholics spoke of a “Church of sinners” it was understood to mean repentant sinners: people who were sorry for their sins and were trying their best to sin no more.

Why eco-activists are so hostile to humanity

Just Stop Oil’s contempt for the masses should come as no surprise.

Something like class war has broken out on the streets of London. On one side stand working people fighting for their right to do their jobs, to attend to their daily business without hindrance. And on the other side there’s the green movement’s plummy predictors of eco-catastrophe. Those Tarquins and Matildas, often privately educated, who think the Industrial Revolution was the worst thing that ever happened and that we’ll all shortly be consumed by a climate apocalypse of the grubby masses’ own making. Once again the working classes are standing up to these silver-spoon prophets of doom, and I am here for it.

Time for Zelensky to blink

Zelensky must make concessions, or prepare for the worst.

For the sake of the world, no less, Ukraine president Volodymyr Zelensky needs to heed the events of Oct. 1962.

That’s when the Soviet Union and the United States came too close to nuclear war.

The United States considered it intolerable when it found Soviet missiles deployed in Cuba, 90 miles from Florida. Remove them, or prepare for retaliation.

Both sides were bloated with nuclear weapons. It was a time of advancing communism and when Soviet leader Nikita Khrushchev blustered, “We will bury you.”

The Other Slavery exposes the 1619 Project’s fraud

According to Nikole Hannah-Jones’s myth , U.S. history didn’t really begin until August 1619, when about 20 slaves were sold to the governor of the Virginia colony by a British privateer. This “beginning of American slavery” is central to our nation’s history, Hannah-Jones argues, because black Americans would go on to become “the perfecters of this democracy.”

The problem is, like every claim Hannah-Jones makes, the claim that slavery began in America in 1619 is a fiction to begin with. Now, a new project funded by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation is unintentionally exposing that fraud.

Big Veganism is coming for you & the meat industry is bankrolling the movement

I’ve seen the Brave New World of food prophesied in Aldous Huxley’s 1932 novel — and it doesn’t work.

Set in the World State in AF 632 (AF standing for “After Ford”, he of the Model T), Huxley’s dystopia offers nothing but synthetic nosh. At a party for the World State’s Alphas, the guests are induced to “take a carotine sandwich, a slice of vitamin A pâté, a glass of champagne-surrogate”. Even the proles get “beef-surrogate” — which these days we might call a plant-based burger.

Biden Is Utterly Failing to Deter Putin

Our commander-in-chief is weak and fearful.

Livening up a Thursday fundraiser, President Joe Biden said, “Think about it. We have not faced the prospect of Armageddon since Kennedy and the Cuban missile crisis. We’ve got a guy I know fairly well; his name is Vladimir Putin…. It’s part of Russian doctrine that they will not — they will not — if the motherland is threatened, they’ll use whatever force they need, including nuclear weapons.” He added, “I don’t think there’s any such thing as an ability to easily [use] a tactical nuclear weapon and not end up with Armageddon.”

The new Meghan Markle podcast is about the word ‘crazy.’ And it’s barking mad

Calling someone crazy or hysterical completely dismisses their experience,’ says Meghan Markle in her strangely throaty professional podcast voice. ‘It minimises what they’re feeling. And you know it doesn’t stop there. It keeps going to the point where anyone who has been labelled it enough times can be gaslit into thinking that they’re actually unwell. Or sometimes worse to the point where real issues of all kinds get ignored. Well that’s not happening today.’

Cue the intro music – ‘I am woman, I am fearless, I am sexy’ etc. – to the latest episode of Archetypes, the Duchess of Sussex’s Spotify series.

China’s electric car market is booming but can it last?

If you want to understand how governments can fuel the rise of new technologies, look no further than the taxi fleets of Beijing.

Five years ago, the city revealed plans to ban the introduction of fossil fuel-powered taxis. Today, thousands of the cars run on batteries instead. And the drivers of these electric vehicles (EVs) don’t have to worry about wasting time at charging stations, either.

Many electric taxis in Beijing, and dozens of other Chinese cities, just go to a battery-swapping station where a machine plucks out the depleted battery and installs a charged one in mere minutes.

The End of Debate

In New York City, world leaders dodged traffic, deranged panhandlers and the city’s unique fall funk, to lecture the planet about their views at the United Nations General Assembly.

Their theme was the threat that “misinformation” or “disinformation” poses to their power.

“Hate speech, misinformation and abuse — targeted especially at women and vulnerable groups — are proliferating,” UN Secretary-General António Guterres claimed.
