Welch: Melania Was Epstein Hooker, GOP Want ‘System…Rigged for White People’

Far-left charlatans and I’ve Had It podcast co-hosts Jennifer Welch and Angie “Pumps” Sullivan told their listeners and viewers on Monday that Republicans are a “cabal of submissive wives” collectively “incapable of critical thinking” because they “cling to money, and racism as their driving ethos” and shudder under their widespread closeted homosexuality.

CHARLEBOIS: Donald Trump’s new tariffs put Canada’s food economy on menu

CHARLEBOIS: Donald Trump’s new tariffs put Canada’s food economy on menu

The United States has announced a sweeping 50% tariff on Canadian goods, citing discriminatory treatment of American alcohol, automobiles and dairy products. The duties are expected to take effect Aug. 19 and, unusually, will reach some products that would ordinarily receive preferential treatment under the Canada-U.S.-Mexico Agreement. Energy, potash, fish and critical minerals are among the reported exemptions.

Why Trump is threatening new 50% tariffs on Canadian exports right now

Why Trump is threatening new 50% tariffs on Canadian exports right now

It may appear that U.S. President Donald Trump’s move to hit many Canadian products with new tariffs of 50 per cent came out of the blue, but there are clear signs of what’s driving the tactic.

Monday’s announcement comes as the U.S. pushes for significant changes to the Canada-U.S.-Mexico Agreement (CUSMA), changes that would lock any Canadian trade concessions into the text of a trade deal.

The Trump administration wants to wipe out as much of Canada’s leverage in those CUSMA talks as possible.

This guy gets it. Canada is not going to win with Carney’s strategy.

This idiot doesn’t get it.

‘Front groups and fellow travelers’: state department attacks US left over Cuba

As part of the Trump administration’s continuing attack on left-leaning groups, the US state department has listed several activists and organizations as “front groups and fellow travelers” for Cuba, including Hasan Piker and the Amazon Labor Union founder Chris Smalls.

In a 100-page report released on Monday, the state department denounces Cuba as the “capital of 21st-century communism”, accusing the Cuban government of carrying out a “campaign of subversion” that has “infiltrated the highest reaches of the US government, recruited and cultivated generations of American activists [and] backed an unprecedented wave of leftwing terrorism on American soil”.

LILLEY: Trump owns the trade war. Carney owns his response

LILLEY: Trump owns the trade war. Carney owns his response

It’s unbelievable how far the Canada-U.S. relationship has deteriorated, and it’s hard to see it recovering. The anti-Canadian rhetoric and attitudes coming out of Washington are likely at their lowest point since calls to take over parts of British Columbia were expressed in the slogan “54-40 or Fight.”

Meanwhile … Hoekstra says Canadians ‘don’t think very highly’ of U.S. as Trump threatens new tariffs

Carney the great negotiator.

How Canada Keeps the Conservatives Shut Out of Power

How Canada Keeps the Conservatives Shut Out of Power

In April, almost a year after last spring’s federal election delivered a minority government, Mark Carney’s Liberal Party inched its way to a majority by poaching a string of floor crossers from opposition parties. The new-found majority further strengthens the hold of a party that has been in power for 60 percent of Canadian electoral history. This makes them among the most successful political parties in the Western democratic world.
