Not Cricket: Middle Aged Male Cross Dresser Allowed To Compete Against 12 Year Old Girls

Trans woman competing against girls as young as 12 leads to parents demanding answers from ECB

Six first-class counties are demanding urgent answers from the England and Wales Cricket Board as to why a middle-aged player who transitioned from a man to a woman is being allowed to compete against girls as young as 12.

Telegraph Sport has seen multiple letters from coaches and parents whose daughters have faced the player, whose case has not previously appeared in the media, in club cricket matches. All express alarm at the safety implications of an adult carrying the residual physical advantages of male puberty playing in the same league as girls. One letter from a coach claims the player “hits the ball harder than any other I have seen in the league”.

UFO shot down by $400K US missile may have been a $12 hobby balloon: report

One of the UFOs shot down last weekend by the US Air Force with a $400,000 missile may have simply been a $12 balloon belonging to an Illinois enthusiast club, a report said.

The Northern Illinois Bottlecap Balloon Brigade told Aviation Week on Thursday that it fears one of its diligently-tracked gasbags that recently went missing was mistaken as the mystery object taken out by the military over Canada on Saturday.

The Pico Balloon — a silver-coated, cylindrically shaped object — reported its last position at 38,910 ft. off the west coast of Alaska on Friday.

Startup aimed to reshape media – and learned ‘news is hard’ the hard way

Two-year-old Canadian local news startup had heady plans when founded, but now trims jobs while execs snipe at workers on Twitter

Nearly two years ago, a journalism startup made bold promises to reshape community news in Canada, announcing plans to hire more than 200 journalists and open 50 new publications across the country.

But this month, as they culled nearly half the staff from their most successful publication, executives from the Overstory media group admitted that – despite the cascade of recent failures across the industry – they had thought turning a profit in local journalism would be “a lot simpler”. The job cuts have raised larger questions over the company’s future, and about that of alternative models of experimental journalism.

Anyone ever hear of this company?
