An Ontario man has been fined $70,000 and sentenced to two years of probation and 50 hours of community service after dozens of foreign nationals from Mexico were found illegally working in the Banff area.
The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) and RCMP launched an investigation into suspected illegal immigration activity in June 2022, eventually identifying a group of people travelling from Ontario to Alberta to work illegally in the hospitality industry in Banff National Park.
70K? Just the cost of doing business. What’s needed is jail and asset forfeiture.
Western democracies, including the UK, France, Canada and Australia, are facing backlash after allowing Iran and other authoritarian regimes to secure seats on influential United Nations (U.N.) bodies, with the United States standing alone in opposition.
The controversy stems from decisions by the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), a 54-member body that plays a central role in shaping U.N. policy and staffing key committees.
Critics warn the outcome could allow governments accused of human rights abuses to influence global policy and control which civil society groups are granted access to the United Nations.

The Southport attack would not have happened if the killer’s parents had done “what they morally ought to have done”, an inquiry has found.
Axel Rudakubana, then 17, killed three young girls at a Taylor Swift-themed dance class on July 29 2024 and attempted to murder 10 others.
An inquiry into the incident heard that the teenager’s parents, Alphonse Rudakubana and Laetitia Muzayire, knew their son was hoarding knives, was accessing violent content online and had been making poison in his room.
King’s College London has instructed lecturers to overlook poor grammar in an effort to “embrace linguistic diversity.” The university plans to reduce traditional exams and offer a “choice in assessment formats” to be more inclusive. Additionally, essay word limits will be shortened to prevent students from being “overburdened.”
OTTAWA—Avi Lewis concluded nearly four decades ago that the NDP had lost its way.
He was a 20-year-old roadie on the Ontario New Democratic Party’s 1987 election campaign, helping leader Bob Rae in an uphill fight to take credit for the NDP’s policy wins under a minority Liberal government.
It didn’t work. Premier David Peterson got his majority and the NDP lost six seats.
The media are still trying to breathe life into the commies Carney must want it so.
Q: You don't have a seat in parliament… will you be doing what Poilievre did, which is persuading one of your caucus to gently step aside?
Avi Lewis: There is no way I'm asking one of these spectacular people to step aside. Not in a million years. pic.twitter.com/NiJD5z2TXA

Former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was pictured alongside his girlfriend Katy Perry at the 2026 Coachella Music Festival in Indio, California.
Trudeau has received some backlash for this amid ongoing pressure from the Canadian government for Canadians to “Buy Canadian” during the ongoing trade dispute with the United States.

Rock singer Melissa Etheridge said her late son, Beckett — who died from causes related to opioid addiction in 2020, at the age of 21 — came out as straight when he was 11, and apologized to her for not being gay.
“I remember my oldest son, Beckett — who actually passed away — when he was about eleven, he came to me, he goes, ‘Mom, I’m sorry, but I think I’m straight,’” Etheridge recalled during a recent appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, eliciting raucous laughs from both the host and the audience.
“It’s like having a curfew,” says Rose Lelliott, 23. Outside her flat, on a quiet road in Exeter – the sort of place you’d imagine your mother would encourage you to live, were you a young woman moving away from home for the first time – the street lights that once guided her way to the local train station are all either broken, working at half-power, or permanently snuffed out.
Lelliott commutes to London once a week, where she works as a researcher at the House of Commons. To make the train for her 9am start, she has to be out the door by 5.15am, but the streetlamps along her road are turned off between 12.30pm and 5.30am. After 9.30pm, they’re dimmed to just 40 per cent of their usual power.
Child sex offenders are recording their own podcasts in a prison described as a “paedophile paradise”.
HMP Whatton in Nottinghamshire, the largest prison for sex offenders in Europe, has a hi-tech multimedia studio where prisoners produce their own podcasts. It also allows paedophiles to record bedtime stories for their child relatives.
An analysis by The Telegraph of the prison and five others that detain paedophiles found that inmates had access to a hipster vintage store, a bistro and enjoyed privacy locks in their cells.

The Trans Superiority Narrative—TSN–is collapsing. We can shortly expect another Democrat favored victim group to surpass trans on the oppression hierarchy.
