Amid the ongoing review of Canada’s fighter jet procurement, a federal public servant has been rebuked for distributing a custom-made business card featuring two Lockheed Martin F-35s at a recent military trade show.

According to federal guidelines, all government business cards must follow a standardized template, with a Canadian flag as the sole illustration.

I get the required protocol but any government institution promoting “Transgenders” is not fit to judge.

Pope Leo XIV has called on European leaders to rise to the “momentous challenge” of handling migration as he visited the Italian island of Lampedusa.

The pontiff urged Europe to help new arrivals integrate better and improve conditions in their home countries, during a mass on the island, which receives tens of thousands of migrants a year.

“Those who have lost their lives in this sea are victims both of decisions that were made and of decisions that were not made,” the Pope said.

NATO’s European members and Canada have signaled a readiness to fully take over the financing of Ukraine’s fight against Russia

NATO members are hoping to pledge €70 billion ($80 billion) in military aid to Ukraine for 2026 and “at least equivalent levels” of support in 2027, when they meet at an upcoming summit in Turkey on July 6 and 7.

The funding pledge was revealed in a released text of the summit’s declaration, which was approved by the ambassadors of all NATO’s ⁠32 members, including the United States.

… European NATO members and Canada will provide the majority of the funding.

The move comes in response to declining support to provide aid to Ukraine by US President Donald Trump, with Kyiv’s European allies signaling a readiness to take over the financing of Ukraine’s fight against Russia.

So all of Canada’s problem’s are solved?

A Turkish man denied refugee status in Canada a decade back because he shot two bystanders at a restaurant 18 years ago when he was aiming at his former brother-in-law has won a chance to stay in this country.

Nevzat Etik took his case to Federal Court looking for a judicial review after Canada’s Refugee Appeal Division (RAD) determined that the Refugee Protection Division (RPD) concluded correctly that “there are serious reasons to believe that he committed a serious crime and dismissed his appeal.”

Turkish authorities have banned a cruise ship catering to American LGBTQ2S+ travellers from docking in the country’s ports, citing “moral standards” and “family values,” the CEO of the events company behind the upcoming Mediterranean tour said Thursday.

The “Athens to Venice” cruise, which departs from Greece on July 5, was expected to dock in the vibrant Turkish port town of Kuşadası two days later, followed by a trip to Istanbul, according to Atlantis Events, which is organizing the voyage.
