Spike Lee says he believes 9/11 conspiracy theory: ‘I got questions’

Spike Lee is living up to his outspoken reputation again. The controversial filmmaker is dropping bombshell statements about 9/11 conspiracy theories while on the promotion trail for his new HBO documentary series, “New York Epicenters: 9/11-2021½.”

The “Do the Right Thing” director has now admitted that he doesn’t buy into “official explanations” of the terrorist bombings that devastated the world on September 11, 2001, while speaking with the New York Times on Monday.

In addition to the usual talking heads — Mayor Bill de Blasio, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Senator Chuck Schumer, frontline workers — the Oscar-winning filmmaker’s new four-part docu-series also features full-blown conspiracy theorists who profligate the notorious notion that jet fuel can’t melt metal beams.

Andrew Cuomo reportedly leaves his dog behind at Albany mansion

As disgraced outgoing Gov. Andrew Cuomo packed his bags and sent his belongings to his sister’s house in his last days in office, he left something very important behind — his dog.

Instead, Cuomo asked staff at his Albany mansion if they want to take care of his dog, Captain, the Albany Times Union reported, citing two state police sources.

The sources also told the publication an Executive Mansion worker recently took Captain home but didn’t want to take care of the canine.

New TV Show Filmed In Toronto Will Be First Of Its Kind

Toronto is one of the world’s most diverse cities in many different ways, now that wonderful feature of Ontario’s capital is about to be shown to the world thanks to a brand new CBC and HBO Max Original Series.

Sort Of is a new series created by and starring Bilal Baig, the first queer (trans-feminine) South Asian and Muslim in Canada to be cast in the lead role of a primetime TV series.

Not that further proof was needed but the CBC hates you. This is their purpose – the creation of propaganda, its goal is to humiliate you.

Rescue dogs shot dead by NSW council due to COVID-19 restrictions

Several impounded dogs due to be rescued by a shelter have instead been shot dead by a rural council in NSW under its interpretation of COVID-19 restrictions, alarming animal activists and prompting a government probe.

Bourke Shire Council, in the state’s north-west, killed the dogs to prevent volunteers at a Cobar-based animal shelter from travelling to pick up the animals last week, according to council’s watchdog, the Office of Local Government.

Pope Francis: ‘Dialogue’ Is the Only Path to ‘Peace and Security’ in Afghanistan

Pope Francis has a terrific idea for how to bring peace to Afghanistan, and it’s basically the same solution he offers for every problem under the sun: dialogue. Yes, of course. The Taliban are killing and mutilating women and hunting down Christians because no one has bothered to sit down and talk with the poor dears. Never mind that American representatives were in discussions with the Taliban for over a year in Doha long before the Afghanistan debacle. Apparently that wasn’t the right kind of dialogue, which, if we have now, will fix everything.

The pope said so.

Police pin hopes on ‘rainbow cars’ to drive out hate crime

Forces across the UK add a splash of colour to their fleet to encourage people to report racist, homophobic and transphobic incidents

Police are replacing patrol cars with “hate crime cars” to encourage people to report incidents such as social media comments.

Deputy Chief Constable Julie Cooke said that the cars painted with the police insignia and rainbow designs are now “part of our vehicle fleet” and will be driven daily by officers on patrol.

However, critics have said that forces should instead focus on policing “real” issues such as knife crime and rape, with the latest figures showing poor prosecution rates.

Nordelta is Argentina’s most well-known gated community: an enclave of spacious homes for the rich amid a dreamy landscape of lakes and streams north of Buenos Aires.

But environmentalists question its very existence because it is built on the wetlands of the Paraná, the second most important river in South America after the Amazon.

Now, however, nature is fighting back against Nordelta’s well-heeled residents.

In recent weeks, the community has been invaded by capybaras, who have destroyed manicured lawns, bitten dogs and caused traffic accidents.

Arts Council of Wales finds itself racist for… asking employees to speak Welsh

The Arts Council of Wales spent £51,000 on a report that found its own Welsh language policies “systemically racist.” By asking workers to know the language, the council upholds a “white supremacist ideology,” the report claimed.

The Arts Council of Wales tests its employees on their Welsh language skills every year, while National Museums Wales assesses whether Welsh language skills are “essential” for particular roles.

Sounds like a great way to ditch bilingualism!

The American news outlet published an exclusive report on Friday that endeavored to shine a light on what may have caused the trillion-dollar debacle in Afghanistan, ending with the complete collapse of the Afghan National Army on August 15 just weeks after US-led coalition forces accelerated their exit from the country.

This week, as Afghanistan fell to the Taliban, model, influencer and climate-change nagger Lily Cole posted photos of herself in a burqa on Instagram. Yes, as women across Afghanistan trembled at the swift victory of these 12th-century regressives, worrying what their lives will be like following the return to power of a movement that views women as an inferior species, a posh woke Westerner was donning the burqa for likes. ‘Let’s embrace diversity on every level’, Ms Cole said in her post, as if this chilling blue cloak forced on Afghan women by Islamist brutes is little more than a quirky, exotic fashion item.
