RFK Jr. is ‘bewildered’ and ‘baffled’ by Harry and Meghan winning a prestigious human rights award from his family’s charity.

Speaking to DailyMail.com exclusively on Monday, he said it was however ‘still an encouraging step up’ from Anthony Fauci, who won the award two years ago on behalf of his handling of the COVID-19 pandemic.

‘It’s a bewildering choice but still an encouraging step up from 2020,’ RFJ Jr. said, referring to Fauci, about whom he has written a scathing book, and who he believes is a fraud.

German soldiers ordered to remove ‘SS’ size labels from new uniforms

German soldiers have been instructed to tear out size labels from their new camouflage uniforms because they bear the initials “SS”, apparently an abbreviation for “small, short”.

In recent weeks the defence ministry has distributed about 313,000 sets of combat clothing, including helmets, sleeping bags and waterproof jackets and trousers, to the troops at a cost of €2.3 billion.

‘White nationalism’ a threat the Canadian Armed Forces aren’t equipped for: watchdog

“White nationalism” is an “active” threat to the Canadian Armed Forces, a new report says, but the Forces’ counter-intelligence unit is under-resourced and unable to “proactively” deal with the issue.

In a report released Monday, the independent National Security and Intelligence Review Committee (NSIRA) said the Department of National Defence has known for years their internal “counter-intelligence” branch has been underfunded and hindered by policy constraints.

Russia bans 100 Canadians including Margaret Atwood, Jim Carrey

MOSCOW – Russia’s Foreign Ministry announced Monday that 100 Canadians have been added to the list of people banned from entering the country in response to sanctions against Russia by Canada.

A ministry statement said author Margaret Atwood, actor Jim Carrey and Amy Knight, a noted historian of the KGB, were on the banned list.

Canada asked to hit itself & Cuba with sanctions for repressing thousands after major protests

A Cuban-Canadian rights group is formally requesting that Ottawa slap sanctions on officials in Cuba for Havana’s repression of demonstrators at a July, 2021, protest.

Democratic Spaces, founded and directed by Michael Lima, a Cuban-Canadian, is filing a request with the Department of Global Affairs’ sanctions policy and operations co-ordination division on Monday morning. Mr. Lima is a human-rights activist and researcher.

“Levels of repression in Cuba today are the highest in two decades,” Mr. Lima said.

Jewish groups denounce upcoming Montreal show by rapper accused of antisemitism

MONTREAL — A Jewish group is calling on a Montreal venue to cancel a performance by a French rapper whose music it describes as “openly antisemitic and hateful.”

B’nai Brith Canada sent a letter on Friday to the owners of L’Olympia theatre in Montreal, urging them to cancel a Dec. 4 show by musician Freeze Corleone.

“Mr. Corleone is openly antisemitic and hateful,” read the letter signed by Marvin Rotrand, the national director of B’nai Brith’s League of Human Rights.

From Ladepche – The musician is accused of “apologizing for Nazism and anti-Semitism” in the texts of his songs. The rapper praises Adolf Hitler and Mullah Omar, before attacking the Jewish community.

Veterans minister rebuffs calls to resign amid assisted dying discussion scrutiny

Veterans Affairs Minister Lawrence MacAulay is pushing back on calls for him to resign following scrutiny over a departmental employee discussing medical assistance in dying with a veteran.

Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC) is investigating the issue, MacAulay said, and “at this time” has only found “one, isolated case” of such a conversation occurring.

White ‘Lion King’ sign-language interpreter says he was ousted over skin color

A white sign-language interpreter says he was booted from “The Lion King” on Broadway because of his skin color.

Keith Wann, 53, was one of at least two people forced off the production by the non-profit Theatre Development Fund – which staffs Broadway shows with American Sign Language interpreters – after the group decided it was “no longer appropriate to have white interpreters represent black characters for ASL Broadway shows.”
