The filing, which demands an arbitration hearing on the matter, says the NFL and its owners “have colluded to deprive Mr. Kaepernick of employment rights in retaliation for Mr. Kaepernick’s leadership and advocacy for equality and social justice and his bringing awareness to peculiar institutions still undermining racial equality in the United States.”

SHE’S BAAAACK: Hillary Declares Herself Part Of ‘The Resistance’

According to the newly-defanged former Democratic leader, she takes “absolute personal responsibility” for her loss – but she adds that “I was on the way to winning until a combination of Jim Comey’s letter on October 28th and Russian WikiLeaks raised doubts in the minds of people who were inclined to vote for me and got scared off… if the election had been on October 27, I would be your president.”

Brexit is racist

“The fight to stop Brexit is one that has to continue. Nothing is settled, and in any case destroying the rights of minorities is not democracy. It has to be fought. There isn’t a choice on that.

Brexit is not simply a letter the Prime Minister sends. It’s the new anti-immigrant bill planned, the raids in immigrant communities, it’s the violent attacks, the hate crime, the verbal abuse, the manipulation of who gets the right to stay and how many ways that is kept temporary and precarious.

There are going to be many struggles, and likely uprisings, and it can and must reverse the rightwards direction Brexit is taking us.”

Wrestling with my white fragility

Right now I find it’s hard to find words for anything—which is a problem for a Director of Communications. Many progressives like me in my home country of the United States are experiencing a great loss—not just the loss of an election, but perhaps it’s also the loss of our sense of self. Like the loss of a family member or a friendship that once meant everything, there are no words sufficient to describe it. It’s hard to put pen to paper when all I can feel is a hole in the deep cavity of my chest, this sore grinding jaw, shoulders that seem to reside in my ears, or perpetual hunger. Since November 9th 2016 my body has been ruled by tension and my mind continually races.

Your tears are delicious!
