A Wisconsin teenager has been charged with two counts of murder in connection with the deaths of his parents in a bizarre conspiracy to “obtain the financial means and autonomy necessary” to assassinate Donald Trump and “perhaps the vice president,” according to a manifesto discovered by law enforcement.
In a age of lightning-fast information and leaks over secrets, it’s remarkable how quiet things are on who may have been behind the two known assassination attempts on President Trump last summer, one of which almost succeeded.
We still don’t know.

A social media post vaguely touting the market.

Ryan Wesley Routh attempted to purchase a Rocket Propelled Grenade (RPG) from someone he believed to be a Ukrainian arms dealer one month before allegedly attempting to kill Mr Trump.
Mr Routh communicated with someone he believed had access to the military via an encrypted messaging app.
The left rages against Trump but offers no real alternatives on debt, trade, or immigration—just noise, while results quietly pile up.
Two strange phenomena now characterize the political landscape.
One, opposition to the Trump administration’s initiatives has reached a near-unprecedented fever pitch.
The frenzy is manifested in strange ways. At the bottom end, there is an epidemic of street terrorism, including the keying of Teslas, bullying their owners, firebombing dealerships, or vandalizing charging stations.

As soon as reports began appearing from last Saturday’s massive “Hands Off” protests in the United States, the usual right-wing canards began to pop up as well: doctored photos, overstated crowds and, most stereotypically, professional paid protesters. Tweet after tweet showed the usual Craigslist ad, offering $200 for anyone who’d be willing to stand around with a placard for a couple of hours.
No one would argue that there’s a professional protest infrastructure in the United States, and that if you followed the money trail, you could trace a lot of the funding back to the kinds of NGOs that the government is trying to defund and shut down. The sinister invisible hand of the Soros family is dipping in there somewhere. But it’s ludicrous to imagine that they’re spending that money to buy protesters. They don’t need to.
In a huge, five-page, 3,200-word spread in Sunday’s Washington Post, Style section writer Jada Yuan heaped more liberal bile on the grossly anti-Christian, anti-family, pro-baby death, and far-left crowd behind the show The Handmaid’s Tale ahead of its final season. As is usually the case with puff pieces on the show, Yuan left out that star Elizabeth Moss is a devout Scientology which, if there ever was a dangerous cult, that’s it.
The unhinged left, fueled by Trump Derangement Syndrome and seething hatred for Elon Musk, is trending more violent, according to a new study that finds political violence targeting President Donald Trump and his billionaire adviser is “becoming increasingly normalized.”

The goal is to manufacture the illusion that Trump is wildly unpopular, leveraging a vast network of dark money-funded NGOs that supply rent-a-protesters to rallies nationwide.
With Donald Trump as president, there is now a heavy strain of Christian nationalism driving the US political agenda. From draconian abortion policies to ending birthright citizenship, some of Trump’s first executive orders sound startlingly like something out of Margaret Atwood’s The Handmaid’s Tale, the dystopian novel turned TV show set in Gilead, a fundamentalist, fascist version of the US where women have no rights. But it is urgent we understand that what is happening in the US could happen here. This road to Atwood’s Gilead is charting a course straight through the UK and Europe, and we may well be sleepwalking on to it.
