A suspicious hunting stand was found nested in tree with a direct line of sight to Air Force One in Palm Beach on Thursday. Donald Trump landed at the airport in Florida the following day.

FBI Director Kash Patel told Fox News Digital: ‘Prior to the President’s return to West Palm Beach, USSS discovered what appeared to be an elevated hunting stand within sight line of the Air Force One landing zone.

Former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright observed some years ago that fascism is quite hard to define. It is not an ideology, she said. “I think it is a method, it’s a system.”

If it is a system, one of its most important processes is co-opting the military, perverting its independence into subservience. It is the method through which a fascist party can impose its will on the public without fear of resistance.

I think screaming that Trump is Hitler every 5 minutes as the Star does is the real “fascist system”.

Should Comey Be Convicted?

The ink was not even dry on the US Department of Justice’s hastily drafted two-count indictment of former FBI Director James Comey when partisans chose sides.

Most on the “left” insisted that this was a revenge lawfare indictment with no basis in law or fact. Many on the “right” saw nothing amiss, arguing that the defendant did in fact lie to Congress.

The nonpartisan reality is that it is too early to make a full assessment of the merits or demerits of the case. The other reality is that the indictment raises several distinct if overlapping issues.

YouTube to pay $24.5m to settle Trump lawsuit over Capitol riot

YouTube has agreed to pay $24.5m (£18.6m) to settle a lawsuit brought by Donald Trump, filed after the video platform suspended his account in the wake of the 6 January attack on US Capitol.

The settlement from the video streaming giant’s parent company Alphabet – which also owns Google – comes after social media sites X/Twitter and Facebook also agreed to pay Trump for suspending his accounts.

Trump had accused YouTube and other tech companies of political bias, claiming they had unfairly censored conservative voices after the Capitol riot in 2021.

Canadian health officials, for now at least, will not follow the lead of the United States in recommending pregnant women avoid using acetaminophen, more commonly known as Tylenol, after a study indicated it is a contributing factor in the autism epidemic.

According to officials from Health Canada in a September 23 statement, acetaminophen is safe for use for pain and fever during a woman’s pregnancy when used as indicated on the box/bottle.
