One year after Germany banned Hezbollah from operating on its soil, the Iran-backed, Lebanon-based Shiite terrorist group’s presence in Germany is stronger than ever.
In the twelve months since the ban entered into effect, Hezbollah’s propaganda and fundraising activities in Germany have continued apace; the number of its followers in the country has increased; and the Hamburg mosque which serves as Iran’s main base of operations in Germany has gained in influence.
Criticism against Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán is again on the rise, now that his nation is set to take the presidency of the Visegrad group of Central European nations next month. According a recent report, “Britain’s government has condemned comments made by Viktor Orbán about Muslims and migrants on the eve of a bilateral meeting between the Hungarian leader and UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson. In a statement, No. 10 Downing Street said that Orbán’s 2018 comment to a German newspaper about ‘Muslim invaders’ and his later description of migrants as ‘a poison’ were ‘divisive and wrong’.”
According to Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis, the Netherlands and Sweden will become Muslim-majority countries in the coming decades.
In a recent opinion piece on risks associated with immigration, published in the Czech daily Právo, he highlighted the two countries specifically. Among others, Andrej Babis ventured that a majority of the Dutch population will be Muslims by 2044. Sweden will follow the same path and have a Muslim majority population by 2065, according to the Czech prime minister.

Gen Lecointre said at the time there was no desire for an uprising within military ranks and accused the retired generals of breaking their duty. “The more senior they are, the more serious the sanctions will be,” he said.
In a response to the letter, Ms Le Pen urged the generals to “join her in the battle for France”.

A Greek court has sentenced four young Afghan asylum seekers to 10 years in jail each after they were charged with starting fires that destroyed Europe’s largest migrant camp last year.
Defence lawyers said the men, who denied the accusations, were found guilty of intentional arson.

Four people were killed and a nine-year-old boy suffered serious injuries when they were run down by a pickup truck Sunday evening.
Police say the family was targeted because they were Muslim. The family moved to Canada from Pakistan in 2007.
“Everyone is shocked in [Pakistan], because we saw the family picture, and so a family being targeted like that has had a deep impact in Pakistan,” Khan told the CBC’s chief political correspondent Rosemary Barton.

Tala Halawa, formerly a Palestine Specialist for BBC monitoring, wrote in 2014 that “Israel is more Nazi than Hitler” and that the Israeli Defence Force should “go to hell”.
Well she has a future at the CBC that’s certain.
