UK: Police accused of ‘turning blind eye’ to anti-Semitism to pursue ‘nonsense’

Police chiefs have “turned a blind eye” or even “looked for reasons” not to pursue charges against anti-Semites and instead spent their time investigating “nonsense”, a charity boss has said.

Gideon Falter, chief executive of the Campaign Against Anti-Semitism (CAAS), said that in the past year his charity had launched half a dozen private prosecutions in cases where the police refused to act.

He said since October 7 2023 – when Hamas terrorists invaded Israel and massacred over 1,200 people – there has been an explosion in anti-Jewish hatred, but police were routinely declining to pass cases on to the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS).

Sounds familiar.

Muslims and leftists are rampaging against Israel…in Montreal

Around 2,500 years ago, Aesop (c. 620-564 BC) wrote short fables that pithily revealed deep truths. They used to be part of the Western canon but are no longer. And that’s a shame because if more Westerners had been raised on Aesop and knew the story of the Farmer and the Viper, they would not have welcomed in bazillions of Muslims from countries practicing the strictest versions of that faith, they would not have encouraged leftism, and they definitely would not be surprised by the violent anti-Israel rioting in Montreal.

Canadian politicians are condemning violent anti-NATO, pro-Palestinian protests in Montreal Friday evening.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, that “acts of anti-Semitism, intimidation and violence must be condemned,” and that the RCMP is in touch with Montreal Police.

The Migration Research Institute in Budapest, linked to the prestigious Matthias Corvinus College, estimates 900 uncontrolled areas throughout Europe. A Europe of open borders has ended up filled with no-go zones.

Amid the usual laughter of commentators and Twitter users, eight years ago Donald Trump scandalized the right-thinking people by stating that “no-go zones” were being created in Europe. No-go zones? It must have been another fake by Trump, they said.

David Ignatius in the New York Times had used the expression, explaining that some areas of Paris had become “no-go zones at night”. Then Michael Nazir-Ali, bishop of Rochester, spoke of no-go zones in England.

PESHAWAR, Pakistan (AP) — Gunmen opened fire on vehicles carrying Shiite Muslims in Pakistan’s restive northwest on Thursday, killing at least 38 people, including six women, and wounding 20 others in one of the region’s deadliest such attacks in recent years, police said.

The attack happened in Kurram, a district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province where sectarian clashes between majority Sunni Muslims and minority Shiites have killed dozens of people in recent months.

No one immediately claimed responsibility for the latest attack. It came a week after authorities reopened a key highway in the region that had been closed for weeks following deadly clashes.

Freedom to protest does not mean calling for war on the streets is legal.

Or condone hitting someone with a flagpole.

Scrawling a Swastika on the sidewalk in a neighbourhood in which many Jewish people live is a hate crime, dressing up in full disguise with the look of a terrorist and going into the lobby of Toronto Metropolitan University to scare people, shooting bullets into a Jewish girl’s school or an alleged attack on a woman outside of a Jewish day care centre are all variations on terrorism.

What did you think would happen when you allowed a violent cult to control your streets?

Seattle’s KOMO News last Wednesday gave us another reason to thank our leftist bureaucrats and elected officials as it told a harrowing story: “Two Lacey parents are facing criminal charges, including assault, attempted murder and attempted kidnapping, after several bystanders had to step in to stop a father from strangling his daughter outside a school.”
