Hamas leader’s death ‘may boost UK terrorist groups’, says ex-MI6 chief

Islamist terrorist groups in the UK could get a “boost” after the death of Hamas’s leader, a former head of MI6 has said.

Yahya Sinwar, the chief architect of the October 7 attack on Israel which murdered about 1,200 people in the south of the country, was killed by the IDF on Wednesday.

Sir John Sawers, who led the UK’s foreign intelligence agency between 2009 and 2014, told Sky News that “Islamic terrorism may actually get a further boost, if that’s the right word, from events in the Middle East”.

It’s getting harder to recall a time when the west did not have to worry about Muslim terrorists.

Israel, Churchill and why we’re still obsessed with WW II

“… Post-War liberalism unilaterally disarmed Europe of the right to exercise an in-group preference for respective countries’ cultures, histories, and peoples. It compelled us to treat everyone with the false anthropology of the Blank Slate: as if all cultural, geographical, and biological differences are inconsequential, and easily remedied by technocrats turning the dials of education and economic opportunity. Liberalism is recalcitrant to recognise how involuntary factors — like ethnic and cultural heritage — may influence one’s likelihood of buying into a civilization’s story. It has, paradoxically, placed upon Europe the burden of unique, non-expungable guilt for past atrocities, thinning out its history to a list of grievances requiring recompense. Such optimism is the furthest thing from Nazi racial determinism; but sacrifices the ability to stake a claim in any one conception of the good. Liberalism is, as James Burnham said, “the ideology of Western suicide”.

This is a long and at times dense read but worth your while as it touches on the ills of multiculturalism, mass immigration, minority grievance culture, cultural relativism and all the other crap that has turned western nations into borderline 3rd world shitholes.

One Book Explains Why We’re Losing to Islamic Terrorism

“I recall one instance where we were ordered to turn over a shipping container of captured Taliban weapons to the Afghan government, and I told the Major in charge of the mission “You know these are going right back to the Taliban as soon as we leave, right?” Without hesitation he responded, “Oh yes, I know.”

This story that Jesse Petrilla tells in If It Takes a Thousand Years: From Al-Qaeda to Hamas, How the Jihadists Think & How to Defeat Them’is part of the larger reason why we not only lost Afghanistan, but why we’re losing to Islamic terrorists around the world and at home.
