Pro-Hamas supporters are up in arms after Toronto police finally started to crackdown on demonstrators attending these hate-filled rallies.
At least six people were arrested at a weekend protest, say police, including one woman for allegedly flinging horse manure at officers and another woman accused of using a flagpole as a “spear.”
Herzl and the Bible – This unsolicited commentary is a response to three essays by Professor Salim Mansur, a once courageous pro-Israel academic who recently made a radical shift and became a strident anti-Israel voice.
I became acquainted with Salim Mansur in 2017 at a conference in Jerusalem, where he presented a positive view of the right of the Jewish people to the land of Israel. As a Muslim, he pointed out that the Quran validated this primordial connection. In the same year, he wrote The Qur’an Problem and Islamism in which he defined Jew-hatred as a pathology, though not embedded in the holy book of Islam.
This comes as a shock, I have held Salim Mansur and his work in high regard for many years.

Israeli troops have withdrawn from Gaza’s largest hospital after a 19-day raid, leaving parts of it completely destroyed amid reports of dozens of dead bodies left at the scene.

Binyamin Netanyahu has said that Israel’s war cabinet has authorised military plans to invade Rafah, just before he was prepared for hernia surgery on Sunday.
“We have approved the IDF’s operational plans for Rafah. The IDF is preparing to evacuate the civilian population and provide humanitarian aid,” the Israeli prime minister told a televised press conference.
The Toronto Police Association came to the defence of its members after a pro-Palestinian protest on Saturday in the downtown area ended in multiple arrests and three people charged, including a woman accused of throwing horse manure at officers.
A post on the TPA’s X account said officers, away from their loved ones over the holiday weekend, are “compelled to attend these protests to ensure public safety.
