It is astonishing and difficult to comprehend how, after the terrorist attack by Hamas on Israel on October 7, 2023, the West has progressively adopted policies that support the terrorist organization Hamas and its influential backers, Qatar and Iran.
This policy is particularly perplexing given the violent nature of the attack and the well-documented connections, especially between Hamas and the Iranian regime, which has been a significant supporter of Hamas both financially and militarily. The West’s stance also raises questions about the strategic and ethical considerations behind such policies, considering the implications for regional stability and the ongoing threat posed by these groups.
It’s late May at the University of British Columbia’s Point Grey campus, and sunbathers dot the unoccupied Astroturf adjacent to the pro-Palestinian encampment that was erected on MacInnes Field a month ago. “It has been cleared for publication that in a complex operation by the IDF, Shin Bet, and the Yamam unit of the Israel police four Israeli hostages were rescued this morning (Saturday). The hostages, Noa Argamani (25), Almog Meir (21), Andrey Kozlov (27), and Shlomi Ziv (40), were kidnapped by Hamas to the Gaza Strip from the ‘Nova’ party on October 7th.

Toronto police are warning of a heightened police presence in the city this weekend as the United Jewish Appeal (UJA) prepares to hold its annual “Walk with Israel” event.
Police say they have received information that some protesters also plan to attend the event “intent on disrupting” it.
This is the 55th year that UJA is holding the “Walk with Israel” event in the city — a five-kilometre walk followed by a three-hour “solidarity festival.”

Nearly eight years after a Muslim terrorist committed the largest massacre of gay people in American history, LGBTQ Islamic terror supporters blocked the Philadelphia gay pride parade.
“Long live the Intifada,” members of Queers4Palestine chanted, referring to the Islamic terrorist campaign against the Jewish State, chanting that the gay pride parade was just like the KKK and the Israeli army. “From the sea to the river, Palestine will live forever!”
Protesting a gay pride parade in support of Hamas was a fitting prelude to the anniversary of the Islamic massacre at a gay nightclub which had its own Hamas connection.
MPs calling out hate while disparaging Israel criticism ‘duplicitous’: Muslim groups
OTTAWA — Muslim groups called on political parties to work harder to stamp out Islamophobia in Canada on Thursday, and to not paint criticism of Israel as antisemitic.
The concerns centred on condemnations of pro-Palestinian rallies and advocacy since the Oct. 7 Hamas attack on Israel.
“The response that the Muslim community in Canada, for months, has been receiving from our elected leaders has been duplicitous,” National Council of Canadian Muslims head Stephen Brown said Thursday.
At a trendy cafe in the bohemian Florentin district of Tel Aviv, Niv Nissim, a 30-year-old gay Israeli, described the Oct. 7 attack by Hamas as “maybe the worst moment for everyone who lives in Israel.” He spoke of an acquaintance who perished at the Nova Festival massacre. “He went to dance and he was murdered. Most of the people that got murdered and kidnapped are people with the same values that I have — peace advocates,” Nissim said.
Pakistani jihadists threatened attacks on Christians in response to the burning of the Swedish Quran. But they never needed an “excuse” to tear them apart.
A Christian family was attacked in Sargodha, Pakistan, after being accused of having “offended Islam”. The neighborhood was invaded by Islamic fundamentalists and fires were set. Muslims in the neighborhood destroyed the family’s house and lynched one of them. They didn’t speak Swedish, but Urdu. And they were not “colonialists”, but as indigenous as Muslims.
These are scenes that seem to come from another time, but they come from a country that is a member of the UN Human Rights Council. And as in the Jewish October 7th, the wolves film their victims with cell phones.
MONTREAL – McGill University says a protest on Thursday that ended with 15 people arrested was a “troubling” event in a series of escalating incidents since pro-Palestinian demonstrators set up an encampment on campus more than a month ago.
In a statement to media on Friday, the university says protesters occupied its administration building, blockaded several doors, damaged furniture and yelled threats, forcing some staff to shelter in place.

Hamas may have up to 12,000 fighters left, according to US officials who spoke to Reuters. This assessment would mean that Hamas has lost around half its strength in eight months of war.
Israel’s assessments were that Hamas had some 24 battalions at the outset of the war and that most of them were defeated. Israel also believed that around 14,000 Hamas members were killed. This would mean thousands were wounded.
And 5000 of those are on their way to Canada.
OTTAWA — A Jewish group and an independent MP are pushing for the government to classify commonly used antisemitic chants as hate speech, with a petition signed by 13,000 Canadians tabled in the House of Commons.
The petition, tabled Wednesday by Spadina-Fort York MP Kevin Vuong, comes in response to the increased and overt use of chants such as “from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free” in anti-Israel protests across Canada.
