There is an old joke in which, two Jewish friends, after having been beaten and tortured, find themselves next to each other, lined up in front of a Cossack firing squad. The Cossack commander approached them in the traditional fashion to offer blindfolds. One of the men accepts the blindfold. The other rejects the blindfold and says, “I will see this all the way and if a miracle happens and I survive, I will bear witness to your depravity.” The other Jew looks over at his friend in horror and says, “Shhh, for God’s sake! You’ll make trouble for us!”

One of the bodyguards of Hamas political bureau chief Ismail Haniyeh leaked information to the assassins who eliminated him, Iranian media reported on Wednesday.

According to the report, an Israeli-made Spike short-range missile was launched at the leader’s bedroom in northern Tehran from within Iranian territory.

Sky News Arabia, citing Iranian sources, reported that the Hamas political leader was killed by a missile that was launched from a building near the one where he was staying.

The US has donated close to a billion dollars of taxpayer money to Gaza, ruled by the officially designated terrorist group, Hamas, in the eight months following October 7, 2023. On that day, Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad, the Iranian proxies that invaded southern Israel, carrying out this act of war on behalf of the Islamic Republic of Iran. There, they brutally murdered 1,200 people, raped and mutilated women and children, burned children to death in front of their parents, and abducted more than 250 people into Gaza.

Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh was killed in Iran, Hamas claimed on Wednesday morning, while claiming Israel was behind the attack.

In a statement, the Islamist terror group said they mourned the death of Haniyeh, who they claimed was killed in “a treacherous Zionist raid on his residence in Tehran.”

Haniyeh, along with one of his guards, was reportedly killed at his Tehran residence, according to an IRGC statement, and Saudi Arabia’s Al-Arabiya reported that he was killed at approximately 2:00 a.m. Wednesday morning.

The IDF struck Beirut on Tuesday afternoon, targeting a Hezbollah commander who was responsible for the strike on Majdal Shams in the Golan Heights a few days earlier that killed 12 Israeli Druze children and teenagers, the military announced.

The name of the commander targeted was Fuad Shukr. The Hezbollah official had a $5 million bounty “on his head,” according to the United States Rewards for Justice.
