Military member charged with terrorism warned of ‘another Waco’: court docs

One of the heavily armed Canadian Armed Forces members now charged with terrorism allegedly spoke openly about his will to use violence against government authorities and warned about another Waco massacre, according to recently unsealed court documents.

Last month the RCMP charged four Quebec men, all with military ties, for allegedly planning an ideologically motivated violent plot “intending to forcibly take possession of land in the Quebec City area.”

Is this any more extreme than the “Land Back” crowd?

On Thursday, a B.C. superior court judge gave at least half a billion dollars’ worth of government land in an 800-acre zone in southeast Richmond to the Cowichan First Nation, and lit a fuse that could lead to the obliteration of private landowners’ legal title in the area.

This case of “land back” in action (Cowichan Tribes v. Canada) casts a shadow over the country’s property system. It jeopardizes the default means of owning land in Canada — the estate in fee simple, where owners have exclusive rights to sell land — wherever Aboriginal title is found to exist.

Anti-hate coalition denounces presence of white nationalist ‘active clubs’ in Hamilton, calls for action

Several organizations in Hamilton are denouncing white nationalist “active clubs,” whose members were found by a recent investigative report by CBC News to be preparing for a “race war” in area gyms and parks.

The Hamilton Anti Hate Coalition, a group formerly known as No Hate in the Hammer, said it is also calling on municipal authorities and neighbours to “act immediately” in light of the investigation’s findings.

The left needs to learn how to talk to young men — or it will keep losing them to the right says oddly dressed metrosexual

It takes only a few minutes of listening to right-wing politicians and podcasters to understand why their message appeals to so many young men in Canada, who increasingly feel that society has abandoned them in favour of women, racial and sexual minorities and the moneyed classes. Conservatives have sold them on the idea that they represent the true counterculture, rising up against the excesses and iniquities of the left-wing establishment that have kept them from finding a job or partner or affordable home.

Meanwhile, there is a fundamental problem with the message progressives have for young men today, especially those who are cisgender, heterosexual, or white. The left has to convince young men, many of whom feel barely in control of their own lives, that they’re members of a privileged class — and what’s more, that the privileges they enjoy are unjust and should be dismantled.

Influencer sues Guardian for defamation in Mumford & Sons review

A Right-wing influencer is suing the Guardian for defamation over its review of a new Mumford & Sons album.

Andy Ngo, an American social media influencer and journalist, has filed a High Court claim against Guardian News & Media (GNM) over allegations about his political leanings in a recent article.

The 200-word review was published in March in The Observer, when GNM still owned the Sunday title. The Observer was taken over shortly afterwards by news start-up Tortoise Media. The Telegraph is not reproducing the part of the text believed to be allegedly defamatory

QUÉBEC — One of four men accused in an alleged anti-government plot to forcibly take possession of land in the Quebec City region has been granted bail.

Matthew Forbes, 33, was ordered in Quebec court to comply with a lengthy list of conditions including wearing a GPS tracking bracelet.

The other three accused — Simon Angers-Audet, 24, Raphaël Lagacé, 25, and Marc-Aurèle Chabot, 24 — will remain detained until their bail hearings scheduled for July 24-25 in Quebec City.

What we know (so far) about the plot to seize land in Quebec and the military men allegedly behind it

The RCMP made shocking allegations this week when they accused four men, including Canadian Armed Forces members, of amassing a trove of weapons and explosives as part of a scheme to take over land near Quebec’s capital.

Police called the plot an act of “ideologically motivated violent extremism.”

National security experts say it’s likely the first time that active members of the Canadian military have been charged with terrorism-related offences. The case is also unique due to the sheer scale of weapons and gear seized, and allegations some of the equipment was taken from the military.

Will we learn that RCMP undercover officers were the one’s stirring the pot?

The statement by that left wing lunatic RCMP spokesman revealed who the real extremists are and I hope it is admissible in court to good purpose.

Is Right-wing extremism really Germany’s greatest threat?

Is Germany overrun with violent Right-wing extremists? A recent article in Politico covering a surge in “extreme-right crime” would suggest so. Germany’s interior ministry recently published a report on “Politically Motivated Crime” and, at first glance, the alarmism appears to be justified.

The number of politically motivated crimes did indeed increase sharply in 2024, rising by over 40% compared to 2023, where German authorities recorded more than 84,000 incidents. Most of these, however, are not crimes against a person or property. The majority of these cases are categorised as propaganda offences, meaning inciting, insulting or offensive messages that have been spread online or otherwise.

An internal survey about extremist attitudes in the German military now found that it does not have “systemic” extremism in the ranks. But some researchers are skeptical of the safeguards in place.

… Despite these safeguards, Hoffstadt does not believe that the Bundeswehr is doing enough to keep extremist attitudes out of the military, especially in the context of a wider society where right-wing attitudes have become increasingly normalized — as shown by the success of the far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD).

“There have been too many ‘isolated cases’ in the military to trust in the power of this gatekeeping,” she said. “They have a lot of seminars and meetings and political education, but in the bases, there is not a very close awareness of the complexity of the modern right-wing mindset.”

These are the same jackasses that tried to have the AfD banned because they criticized Islam, Globalists and immigrant crime.

I expect the Carney Liberals will attempt a similar assault on freedom soon.

While this sounds like something Tom Clancy would write, it is reality: Rinaldo Nazzaro, better known as the leader of the Base, once worked in drone targeting with the US Special Operations Command in Iraq and Afghanistan. Recently, the Guardian revealed allegations from inside the Base that he was long suspected of working with the FSB, one of Russia’s main intelligence services.

An extremist blogger, who has become the Trump administration’s so-called “dark enlightenment” sage, is debating a Harvard professor of political philosophy at an unsanctioned event on its campus next week.

Curtis Yarvin, who was for a time an obscure darling of Silicon Valley and the broader spectrum of the fringe right wing, has emerged as a major philosophical influence on key Capitol Hill power brokers. He is considered a favorite of Vice-President JD Vance, an ally of the tech mogul Peter Thiel, and having the ear of senior state department official, Michael Anton, among others.

Yarvin’s outlandish politics vouching for dictatorships and a new “American Caesar”, as he discussed in a 2021 podcast with Anton, in place of liberal democracy has made him both a much-maligned and loved figure.

It’s the Guardian so anything right of Pol Pot is “extremist”.

How the far right is expanding its international network

Representatives of Germany’s far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD) party were among the guests at US President Donald Trump’s inauguration in January 2025. They were there alongside Argentina’s President Javier Milei, Italy’s Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and Nigel Farage from the UK.

One day before, Trump’s former chief ideologue Steve Bannon, the son of former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro, an AfD lawmaker and numerous influencers held an informal meeting in Washington to exchange ideas. One right-wing influencer from Germany posted a video from the sidelines, boasting that he had just received an invitation from El Salvador’s ambassador.

DW is a German state funded propaganda outlet and this article is a prime example of their work. The AfD is scaring the establishment to death.

Luigi Mangione Resurfaces As Symbol of Anger Against California Insurers

The name of Luigi Mangione has come up often over the past few days in social media users’ discussions of the fires ravaging Southern California.

Many, angered by State Farm’s decision last summer to cancel hundreds of homeowners policies in some of the neighborhoods now devastated by the blazes, are looking at the 26-year-old as the type of avenger they wish would punish insurance companies that have cut coverage across the state.

Symbols are often contradictory. Despite his privileged personal background Mangione has been claimed by a generation that will never have to worry about home insurance because they won’t ever be able to own a home let alone medical insurance and now by a generation that has lost their homes. Politics may get very interesting in California.
