Canada’s China Class Blames Trump for Meng Detention – Anxious to display renewed fealty to Xi’s Genocidal regime

Resolving Meng case removes giant thorn from Canada’s business relationship with China

Canada has a strong extradition law with the United States to prevent people accused of crimes from avoiding justice across the border. Some observers suspect the former U.S. administration led by Donald Trump exploited that strong relationship to weaken Canada’s ties with China.

“It depends how cynical you are,” said Houlden, who has worked in China and is well connected in Washington, D.C. “Some would say by putting a spike in Canada-China relations, which the Meng Wanzhou extradition case certainly did, that may well have served U.S. strategic interests as well.”

I may have missed it but I do not recall mention of the Uyghur genocide in this CBC article which reads like a propaganda piece for the Liberal Government’s China Class. Sickening to read that Canada’s trade with China actually increased during the hostage taking.

It’s no wonder Canada has become a pariah among former allies and illustrates why we should never trust the corporate and political classes.

Terry Glavin: Justin Trudeau went all in on China a decade ago — and nothing can shake his resolve

Justin Trudeau has been singularly focused on trade with China, regardless of what the country’s sadistic leadership does

In the way the story’s usually told, relations between Canada and China are said to be at the lowest point in decades, or at an all-time low, or chillier than ever. But any close examination of the relationship will show that what these expressions more precisely describe is an ongoing, abject humiliation of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s government by China’s capricious and sadistic supreme ruler, Xi Jinping.

Justin was re-elected thanks to Xi and Canada’s China Class so why wouldn’t he be Gung-ho?

Hostage Diplomacy Works: China welcomes Meng Wanzhou’s return, but silent on ‘Two Michaels’ released

Chinese state media welcomed telecoms giant Huawei’s chief financial officer, Meng Wanzhou, back to the “motherland” on Saturday, after more than 1,000 days under house arrest in Canada, on what they called unfounded charges of bank fraud.

But they have kept silent about Michael Kovrig and Michael Spavor, the two Canadians released from Chinese custody in an apparent act of reciprocation by Beijing.

It’s a victory for China and Canada’s China class, just like the election was won by the LPC thanks to the CCP’s backing of Trudeau. China does not care about western public opinion.

China has released detained Canadians Kovrig, Spavor: PM

OTTAWA / TORONTO — Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says China has released detained Canadians Michael Kovrig and Michael Spavor.

The two Canadians have been in Chinese custody for 1,019 days on espionage charges that were largely viewed as a retaliatory response to Canada’s arrest of Huawei executive Meng Wanzhou on a U.S. warrant related to the company’s business dealings in Iran. However, China’s has consistently denied that the cases were in any way connected.

Frankly I am surprised.

Britain offers Canadian military help to defend the Arctic

Britain is signalling its interest in working with the Canadian military in the Arctic by offering to take part in cold-weather exercises and bring in some of its more advanced capabilities — such as nuclear-powered submarines — to help with surveillance and defence in the Far North.

In a recent exclusive interview with CBC News, the United Kingdom’s top military commander said his country is “keen to cooperate” and learn more about how to survive and fight in a cold, remote setting.

Gen. Sir Nick Carter said Britain would also like to “cooperate in terms of helping Canada do what Canada needs to do as an Arctic country.”

Andrew Richter: Under the Liberals, Canada has effectively disappeared as an international actor

Last week, the United States, United Kingdom and Australia announced a new defence and security partnership, dubbed AUKUS, which is intended to present a unified front toward an increasingly aggressive China, and demonstrate to other countries that the U.S. intends to remain engaged in the Asia-Pacific region for decades to come. Not only was Canada not included in the agreement, but the federal government seemed to be completely blind-sided by the announcement — a reflection of our diminished stature on the world stage.

Conservative vote plunged in Canada’s most Chinese electorates. Did party pay price for tough stance on Beijing?

Almost as soon as he entered Canada’s parliament in 2019, Conservative Kenny Chiu became a prominent advocate for what he called Hong Kong’s “political freedom”, and a tough critic of Beijing.

Weeks after being comfortably elected in Steveston-Richmond East, one of Canada’s most ethnically Chinese electorates, Chiu was back in his birthplace of Hong Kong as an international monitor for the city’s district council elections.

Chinese COVID Vaccine Based on Technology Developed Jointly by Fired Winnipeg Scientist and PLA Major General: Expert

The COVID-19 vaccine developed by Chinese company CanSino, with whom Ottawa partnered before the deal fell through, used technology developed in a 2016 paper on Ebola by a now-fired scientist from a government laboratory in Winnipeg and a Chinese major general, an expert says.

The government’s partnership on the clinical development of the CanSino vaccine, first announced on May 12, 2020, fell apart on Aug. 26, 2020, after Beijing blocked shipment of the vaccine to Canada.

Canada’s China Class is working hard to suppress the truth of their treason.

The persistent threat of foreign interference in Canada’s democracy – Communist China Backs Trudeau

“… The threat of foreign interference in this election has already been detected. A Chinese Communist Party-owned media platform, Global Times, published an article last week to discredit Conservative leader Erin O’Toole and his party’s platform. The anonymous article threatened Canadians with a “counterstrike” if they elect a Conservative government. The article is the very definition of foreign interference.

MPs from different parties have also been targeted by Beijing aligned actors in efforts to influence the election outcome in their ridings. One of them is Conservative MP, Kenny Chiu, who introduced a private members bill in June 2021 to create a federal Canadian registry for individuals and organizations that act on behalf of identified, malign foreign regimes.”

Canada’s treasonous China class is deeply embedded in the Liberal Party. Both Xi and his minion Justin want to quash inquiries into the Winnipeg virus lab.

Trudeau Government kept in dark about new security pact between U.S., Australia and Britain

Canada caught off guard by new security pact between U.S., Australia and Britain

The Canadian government was surprised this week by the announcement of a new security pact between the United States, Britain and Australia, one that excluded Canada and is aimed at confronting China’s growing military and political influence in the Indo-Pacific region, according to senior government officials.

Three officials, representing Canada’s foreign affairs, intelligence and defence departments, told The Globe and Mail that Ottawa was not consulted about the pact, and had no idea the trilateral security announcement was coming until it was made on Wednesday by U.S. President Joe Biden, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison.

This is bad. Canada must be so deeply infiltrated by Communist China our own allies no longer trust us.

Trudeaus agreed to father’s book being published by Chinese Communist-run company in 2005

It turns out a 2016 edition of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s memoirs was not his family’s first foray into Chinese state-run book publishing.

In 2005, a Communist Party-affiliated company won the family’s approval — and a preface from brother Sacha Trudeau — for a Chinese-language edition of a book their father, former prime minister Pierre Trudeau, co-authored in the 1960s.

Under Trudeau’s Watch: Chinese PLA general collaborated with fired commie scientist at Canada’s top infectious disease lab

Justin Trudeau Xiangguo Qiu Keding Cheng – Everybody say Xi

A high-ranking officer in the People’s Liberation Army, recently lauded by President Xi Jinping for developing a Chinese COVID-19 vaccine, collaborated on Ebola research with one of the scientists who was later fired from Canada’s high-security infectious disease laboratory in Winnipeg.

The joint research conducted by Major-General Chen Wei and former Canadian government lab scientist Xiangguo Qiu indicates that co-operation between the Chinese military and scientists at the National Microbiology Laboratory (NML) went much higher than was previously known. The People’s Liberation Army is the military wing of China’s ruling Communist Party.

Maj.-Gen. Chen Wei and Dr. Qiu, who until recently headed the vaccine development and antiviral therapies section at the Winnipeg lab, collaborated on two scientific papers on Ebola, in 2016 and 2020.

Those papers did not identify Maj.-Gen. Chen as a high-ranking officer and the Chinese military’s top epidemiologist and virologist. Instead, she is identified as Wei Chen, who held a PHD and worked at the Beijing Institute of Biotechnology, part of the Academy of Military Science.

Canada left out of new American-led security alliance thanks to Xi’s butt licker Trudeau

The United States is starting a new partnership on defence and security issues and Canada is not involved.

The new alliance called AUKUS, a play on the names of the countries involved, will be focused on being a counterbalance to China.

“Through AUKUS, our governments will strengthen the ability of each to support our security and defense interests, building on our longstanding and ongoing bilateral ties,” a joint statement said.

Goodness China is angry, Justin is sad.

Aukus: China denounces ‘irresponsible’ US-UK-Australia pact

China has denounced a historic security pact between the US, UK and Australia, describing the alliance as “extremely irresponsible” and “narrow minded”.

The Aukus pact, which was announced on Wednesday, will see the US and UK provide Australia with the technology to build nuclear-powered submarines.

It is being widely viewed as an effort to counter China’s influence in the contested South China Sea.

The region has been a flashpoint for years and tensions there remain high.

On Thursday, Chinese Foreign ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian said the newly-announced alliance risked “severely damaging regional peace… and intensifying the arms race”.

Why Did the USA Hand Afghanistan to China? – Ask The China Class

“… I have believed for some time—and our extraordinarily rapid and ill-conceived evacuation of Afghanistan, leaving behind not only Bagram but enough U.S. weaponry to make the Taliban’s army nearly equivalent to the Italian’s, not to mention putting our advanced military technology in the hands of the Chinese and the Russians, only underscores this—that a large percentage of our Democratic Party leadership as well as a tragically significant percentage of the Republican have long believed the Chinese regime are winning the battle between China and America for global hegemony. They are therefore, overtly or covertly, consciously or subconsciously, throwing in with the Chinese side for their own economic—and to a lesser extent survival, though the two interact—advantage.”

Yup. Same, Same Canada.

Chinese Dissidents Worry About Communist China’s Access to Canadian Student Data Through Confucius Institutes

The access that communist China’s Confucius Institutes (CIs) have to Canadian student data, as recently highlighted in New Brunswick, has several members of the Chinese dissident community expressing worry over the institutes operating in their own school district and on Canadian soil in general.

Sheng Xue, a Chinese-Canadian democracy activist in Toronto, said she is very concerned because access to CI student data can potentially threaten the safety of Chinese dissidents targeted by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) who have any connection with the CI.
