Monday’s federal budget included a massive expansion of race-based programming, including a new drive for race-focused data collection, funding earmarked for what Ottawa is calling “equity deserving groups” and even a plan to prioritize government procurement from “Black-owned businesses.”

It’s a ramping up of an initiative first begun in 2019, when the Government of Canada began rolling out antiracism training within its departments in a bid to combat a federal bureaucracy that they asserted was shot through with “systemic racism.” Ottawa’s focus on antiracism training became all the more acute after worldwide Black Lives Matter protests prompted by the death of Minneapolis man George Floyd in police custody, which was reflected in the more than $300 million put towards “equity” programs in the 2021 budget.

Detroit Police chief James Craig said on Monday that it was “reckless and disgusting” for Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) to say that policing in the United States is “inherently & intentionally racist.”

In an appearance on CNN, the police chief was asked about Tlaib’s fiery tweet, in which she claimed that the recent police-involved shooting of Duane Wright “wasn’t an accident” and that “policing in our country is inherently & intentionally racist.”

Downing Street today accused the United Nations of ‘misrepresenting’ the findings of a landmark UK race report in an extraordinary bust up.

An arm of the UN accused the Government’s Commission on Race and Ethnic Disparities (Cred) of trying to ‘rationalise’ and ‘normalise’ white supremacy in its ‘reprehensible’ report on race relations in Britain by ‘repackaging racist tropes and stereotypes into fact’.

Five human rights experts working for the organisation claimed the controversial report presented by Cred on March 31 effectively whitewashed the history of slavery and colonialism, and ‘further distorted and falsified historic facts’.

The UN is the enemy.

Racism in America: A one-way street

I don’t mean to beat a dead horse, but everyone is painfully aware of the fanatical obsession with racism that’s tearing this country apart. Thanks to BLM/Marxist activists (some of whom are anti-capitalists who purchase million-dollar homes), so-called social justice warriors, and power-mad (mostly) Democrat politicians, the scarlet letter R is almost always branded on white people. They are aided and abetted by the propagandists in the mainstream media. But an examination of Department of Justice crime statistics, which anyone can access, paints a very different picture from what you’ll hear on CNN. Real-life experience can help as well, especially for those who have spent even a moderate amount of time in urban America.

WNBA & Nike cancel jersey commemorating WW II female army pilots because no black women were allowed

An effort by the WNBA’s Dallas Wings to honor women pilots who helped the US military during World War II has been canceled as offensive, after critics noted black people hadn’t been allowed to join the female flying force.

The Dallas team’s new ‘Rebel Edition’ jersey, which Nike introduced earlier this month as part of a collection of new Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) uniforms, was meant to pay tribute to the Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASPs). The WASPs helped the war effort amid a manpower shortage by testing and delivering planes for the Army Air Forces. However, Nike, the WNBA, and the Wings said on Friday that the jersey wouldn’t be worn by the team or marketed to their fans after all, because they had since learnt the WASP corps hadn’t accepted black pilots.

A Black woman who went on BBC as a guest opposite Eric Bolling, the former Fox News and Sinclair Broadcasting Group host — and a White male — basically said that if you’re Republican, you’re racist; if you’re a White male, and profess to care about the Black community, you’re a liar.

Permanent Racism – What the Left wants on race.

Given the Left’s monomaniacal obsession with fighting the evils of racism, you could be forgiven for thinking they have no greater commitment than its ultimate eradication. Heck, they even occasionally say so—when they’re not demonizing white people and demanding color-conscious policies in perpetuity, that is.

In truth, the Left will never voluntarily let go of the claim that systemic racism pervades America, that it is “part of our DNA that’s passed on,” as Barack Obama says. The widespread belief that America is racist greatly empowers the Left.
