Why Are So Many Nurses Left-Wing?

Psychologist Derald Wing Sue’s racialist ideas have deeply influenced the helping professions.

National Nurses United has a message for the White House: “ICE messed with the wrong profession.” After intensive-care nurse Alex Pretti was killed in Minneapolis last month, the union’s members called U.S. Customs and Immigration Enforcement a “fascist, terrorizing, and lawless paramilitary force violently enforcing a white supremacist agenda.” In another statement, the union called federal immigration enforcement agencies one of America’s “top public health threats,” adding to a string of similar declarations it made about racismclimate change, and Israeli “apartheid.”

The helping professions—occupations like therapy, social work, and nursing—have increasingly drifted from their traditional roles as carers and embraced social-justice advocacy. These fields have long leaned left and female, but the skew has recently intensified, following broader trends in academia. Progressives now vastly outnumber conservatives, creating an echo chamber that has radicalized a segment of the workforce.

30 More People Are Indicted in Anti-ICE Church Protest in Minnesota

The Justice Department announced on Friday that 30 additional people have been charged with disrupting a Sunday worship service with a protest during the peak of the immigration crackdown in Minnesota. The new indictments bring the total number of people accused in the protest to 39, including Don Lemon, the former CNN anchor.

The demonstration on Jan. 18 took place at Cities Church in St. Paul, Minn., where one of the pastors, David Easterwood, is also a senior official at U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Mr. Easterwood was not at the church during the service that day.

A News Crew Visited Downtown Portland to See If Things Improved. Guess How That Turned Out.

The Left believes that any time President Trump criticizes or rightly attacks the media, it represents an abhorrent, unconstitutional breach of the First Amendment, and threatens the concept of a free press. That, of course, isn’t true. But we can’t help but notice that the Left is awfully silent on this actual attack on the press.

Far-Left Activists Are Encouraging and Radicalizing K–12 Students In Nationwide Anti-ICE Walkouts

A growing number of K–12 students are taking part in walkouts and protests against federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operations across the nation, raising questions about the activists radicalizing them.

The walkouts, which many school administrators say are a legitimate exercise of the students’ First Amendment rights, have seen increasing incidents of violence and lawlessness, ranging from beatings and scuffles to vandalism.

Tlaib Wears ‘F*** ICE’ Pin, Omar Screams, Dems Won’t Applaud Illegal Alien Crime Victims

You will be shocked to know that Democrats are despicable scumbags with no souls. And they are making that disturbingly clear at the State of the Union address.

Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Hades) is wearing a “F**k ICE” pin to Donald Trump’s State of the Union (SOTU) address, proving again how utterly trashy she is. I’ve seen sewers that are less full of crap than she is. She also screamed hysterically and vilely at Trump when he called out Democrats for supporting illegal alien killers and fraudsters, in which she was joined by fellow Squad member Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Hamas).

Six in Ten Believe French Far-Left Party ‘Complacent‘ over Antifa Threat

The majority of French voters believe that the far-left La France Insoumise party of Jean-Luc Mélenchon have poorly handled its response to the alleged Antifa killing of a conservative student in Lyon and has been too “complacent” in the face of the violence of the so-called anti-fascist movement.

J.D. Tuccille: The American youth marinating in ‘assassination culture’

If you think American politics are violent now, just wait a few years. While not exactly daily occurrences, assassinations and attempted assassinations, arsons, and ideologically fuelled brawls have become sufficiently commonplace that many escape the public’s notice. Americans overall have become not just more tolerant, but even supportive of resolving political disputes with violence. But research shows that those most inclined towards violence are younger people marinating in an “assassination culture” that normalizes physical attacks to resolve disagreements. That bodes poorly for the future.

Justice for Quentin: Lyon Prepares for Major March

A heavy police presence is being deployed in Lyon on Saturday as thousands prepare to march in honour of slain activist Quentin Deranque, whose death last week has shaken France and intensified political tensions ahead of next year’s presidential race.

The rally, expected to draw between 2,000 and 3,000 participants, will proceed under tight security despite calls from Lyon’s Green mayor to ban it. Residents along the planned route have boarded up ground-floor windows, fearing clashes with counter-protesters.

Parliamentary aide among 11 arrested over killing of French far-right activist

Assistant to hard-left parliamentarian among those held over fatal attack on 23-year-old Quentin Deranque

Eleven suspects, including a parliamentary aide to France’s hard-left party, have been arrested in connection with the killing last week of a far-right activist in an incident that has shocked the country and laid bare its deep political divisions.

Why the Democratic Party Can’t Moderate

It was one of the final days of the Texas legislature’s regular session in 2023. Along with the other staffers in the Democratic House minority leader’s office, I listened closely to the floor proceedings from the office television. SB 14, a bill to ban gender transition treatments for minors, had been called to the floor and a Houston Democratic lawmaker named Shawn Thierry was about to give a speech in its favor that would end her career. As she walked to the dais, her speech in one hand and tissue in the other, the chamber grew quiet. There was visible unease among both her Republican and Democratic colleagues as she began to speak. In a profession that rewards caution and punishes miscalculation swiftly, it is rare to watch an elected official willingly walk the plank.

Foreign-Born Member Of Congress Threatens Republicans With Prison When Democrats Regain Power

Foreign-born Rep. Shri Thanedar openly threatened to prosecute his political enemies this week — a reminder of what Democrats plan to do if they get power back.

During a committee hearing Tuesday, Thanedar — struggling to speak English — threatened to prosecute Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Rodney Scott when President Donald Trump is out of office.

Race Power Politics For Me, But Not For Thee

Rep. Gene Wu (D) – Commie endorses white genocide

Here is a prime example of the Weimarization of America — to be specific, what is driving an already unstable polity closer to the brink. Click on this link to hear what the Chinese-American leader of the Democrats in the Texas (!) state legislature says. Quote: “Non-whites share the same oppressor, and we are the majority now. We can take over this country.”

ICE List: the small European website exposing US immigration agents

ICE Agents Hunt For Illegal Alien Invaders In Minneapolis

It started as a cheeky response on social media to the US secretary for homeland security. Months later, however, a Europe-based project to unmask US immigration and custom enforcement (ICE) agents has racked up millions of views and mobilised hundreds of volunteers.

“What we’re doing is a reaction to a problematic regime,” said Dominick Skinner, the Netherlands-based Irish national behind the website ICE List, of its mission to remove the anonymity that many of the armed federal agents operate under while deployed to US cities.
