“Anti-White Racism”

A former editor at Vogue stormed out of a first-class cabin on an American Airlines flight because all of the other passengers were “white, middle-aged men”.

Gabriella Karefa-Johnson “downgraded” herself to business class on the flight from the US to Milan, in part because of the way she felt she was being treated by a member of the cabin crew.

“I just downgraded myself from first class to business class on my flight to Milan. In a cabin of 6, 5 of the passengers were white middle-aged men,” she wrote on Threads, the social media site.

Should the Equality Act 2010 be scrapped? Last week, Reform UK set the cat among the pigeons in the Leftie Blob by pledging to do just that. Suella Braverman, Reform’s new Shadow Education and Skills Secretary, said Britain is being “ripped apart by diversity, equality and inclusion” and promised to “build a country defined by meritocracy not tokenism”. Transport for London (TfL) has had to pull part of its latest video campaign against harassment of female passengers because, in the offending clip, the man who was shown pestering a woman happened to be black (while the woman happened to be white). And, after receiving a single complaint from the public, the Advertising Standards Authority ruled that the clip “had the effect of perpetuating a negative racial stereotype about black men as perpetrators of threatening behaviour”.

Culturally, self-flagellation has become a civic virtue; institutions once central to national life now frame their own founding stock as the problem to be solved.

The British countryside is “too white.” At least that is, according to Defra—the Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs, as reported earlier this month in these pages. Following a report in 2019, National Landscapes—a charity mostly funded by Defra—has been launching outreach programs aimed at encouraging ethnic minorities to break the stranglehold of “white communities,” “white spaces,” and “white environments.”

An aide to New York City’s socialist mayor Zohran Mamdani boasted her hatred of ‘white woman behavior’ on social media after she received a dirty look for taking a 40 minute phone call on the train.

Drashti Brahmbhatt, an advisor for Mamdani’s 100-Day Planning and Implementation period, detailed the awkward encounter in November 2021 in a series of since-deleted tweets.

Brahmbhatt claimed she was riding the Metro-North Railroad when she received an ‘important’ call that ‘could not wait’, she wrote in tweets unearthed by Washington Free Beacon reporter Jon Levine.
