Investigating the Florida mRNA vaccine study

Are young men really dying from vaccine-related heart injury?

“Today, we released an analysis on Covid-19 mRNA vaccines the public needs to be aware of. This analysis showed an increased risk of cardiac-related death among men 18-39. FL will not be silent on the truth.”

So went the announcement by the Florida Surgeon General, Joseph A. Ladapo, less than a week ago. The analysis he posted in PDF form listed no authors and was not attached to any publication or university, but made a claim that made headlines around the world: that young men were 84% more likely to die of heart problems in the 28 days after having had an mRNA-based Covid vaccine such as Pfizer or Moderna.

How Ukrainians define their enemy: ‘It’s not Putin; it’s Russia’

During a visit to Kyiv last weekend, I kept asking Ukrainians a question that vexes me: Is your war against President Vladimir Putin — or against Russia itself? Nearly every time, I got the same unyielding answer. The enemy is a Russia that must be defeated and transformed.

Through Ukrainian eyes, this terrible conflict has become a clash of civilizations. They argue that most Russians support Putin’s brutal war in the way that most Germans supported Adolf Hitler. Unless Russia as a nation abandons the imperial dreams that Putin has evoked, the conflict cannot be resolved through negotiations.

How Ukrainian Strategy Is Running Circles Around Russia’s Lumbering Military

Eight months into Ukraine’s war with Russia, its emerging strategy is combining classic military operations with opportunism on the battlefield to exploit the incompetence of Russian forces—and is changing the course of the battle.

Ukraine’s command structure encourages junior officers to make in-the-moment battlefield decisions, an authority that they have used to seize opportunities and quickly take advantage of enemy weaknesses.

Russians, by contrast, have been slowed by a Soviet-era decision-making structure, in which orders trickle down the chain of command from Moscow, and troops at the front lines take little initiative.

Communist China’s Belt and Road Initiative Trashing the Environment

The environmental damage the Chinese Communist Party is causing through its Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) is immeasurable. According to Professor William Laurance of James Cook University in Cairns, Australia:

“Across the globe, on nearly every continent, China is involved in a dizzying variety of resource extraction, energy, agricultural, and infrastructure projects — roads, railroads, hydropower dams, mines — that are wreaking unprecedented damage to ecosystems and biodiversity,”

Reparations: The US town paying its black residents

Evanston, Illinois, is a quiet place in the middle of an unusual experiment.

In this university town just north of Chicago, a sheen of affluence glints through the windows of solid brick buildings downtown, while rainbow flags and “Black Lives Matter” placards dot what seems like every other suburban lawn.

Its population of 78,000 is diverse – about two-thirds white, nearly a fifth black, with sizeable Asian and Hispanic communities – and its politics, predictably, liberal. During the 2020 election, Donald Trump got less than a tenth of the vote here.

Stupid and unnecessary.

DC Comics Cancels Gay Superman Comic Due to Dismal Sales

DC Comics has announced the end of its woke “Superman: Son of Kal-El” series at New York Comic-Con as sales for the title continue to tank.

The series, by writer Tom Taylor, was launched with great fanfare a year ago but has not stood the test of comic book sales. The series will end after only 18 issues, with its final new book hitting stands in December, according to Bounding Into Comics.

Vegan who refused to tackle mice infestation because it was against her ethical beliefs is fined

A vegan who failed to deal with a mouse infestation at her mid-terrace home, claiming that taking action would go against her ethical beliefs, has been fined by a court.

Tendring District Council said 73-year-old Margaret Manzoni, of Clacton Road, St Osyth in Essex, “considered the mice her pets” and “said they would not go to her neighbours because she looked after them”.

The authority prosecuted the pensioner for a second time after she did not comply with a previous order made in April.

Did America cause Europe’s energy war?

Biden doesn’t just want to weaken Russia

All of Europe is suffering as a result of the energy crisis, but for the continent’s largest economy, this is more than just an economic crisis — it’s an existential one. Once hailed as Europe’s economic powerhouse, Germany is now being labelled its “weakest link”.

A recession next year is now considered almost certain; industrial production is down 9% on last year; inflation has soared to double digits for the first time since the Second World War. Given Germany’s deep-seated inflation-phobia, all this is problematic enough. But even more traumatic for the country is the fact that Germany is now running a negative trade balance — the first time this has happened in more than 30 years. This is a very tough pill to swallow for a country where export-led growth is more than just an economic model — it’s part of its national identity.

Durham witness: FBI offered Steele $1M for proof of dossier claims, but he had none

ALEXANDRIA, Virginia — The FBI offered British ex-spy Christopher Steele an “incentive” of up to $1 million if he could prove the allegations in his since-discredited anti-Trump dossier, but the former MI6 agent was unable to back up his claims, according to new court testimony.

The bombshell revelation came during special counsel John Durham’s false statements trial against Steele’s main dossier source, Russian-born lawyer Igor Danchenko, who has been charged with repeatedly lying to the bureau about his sourcing for information he provided for the dossier in 2016. Danchenko has pleaded not guilty.

JK Rowling’s brave trans stand has been vindicated

Every day brings new reasons to thank the Harry Potter writer for fighting extreme gender ideology

The transgender children’s charity Mermaids hasn’t exactly covered itself in glory recently. In fact, recent weeks may rank as the worst time for sea maidens since the mermaid-impersonating cleric Parson Hawker was shot at on suspicion of being a French spy while he sat singing on a rock in Bude harbour during the 19th century.
Last week, Jacob Breslaw resigned as a trustee after a newspaper exposed his links with a pro-paedophile organisation. Yesterday it emerged that Darren Mew, Mermaids’ digital engagement officer, had dressed up as a sexy schoolgirl and posted pictures of his genitals on social media. The Charity Commission is investigating Mermaids after a Telegraph investigation found it was handing out breast-binders to girls as young as 13, sometimes behind their parents’ backs.

Pfizer Executive: ‘No, Haha!’ We Didn’t Test If COVID Vaccine Stopped Transmission of Virus

Pfizer executive Janine Small admitted to the European Parliament with a laugh that the company did not test if its COVID-19 vaccine stopped transmission of the virus before the vaccine was put on the market. Apparently knowing whether a vaccine works isn’t important before forcing everyone to get it?

Public Safety Department Censored ‘Hundreds’ of Freedom Convoy Documents, Says Bloc MP

Public Safety Minister Marco Mendicino’s department censored “hundreds” of pages of documents related to security measures taken against the Freedom Convoy in February, according to Bloc Québécois MP Rhéal Fortin.

Public Safety provided the documents to the Special Joint Committee on the Declaration of Emergency after being ordered to do so by the committee in May. Fortin told the committee on Oct. 6 that it “needs to address” why large portions of the Public Safety documents have been censored.
