VANCOUVER — The BC NDP caucus has accused interim BC Conservative Leader Trevor Halford of promoting a “racist website” by praising the Western Standard while remaining silent on the specific article that prompted his praise.
In a media release issued Friday, NDP MLA Rohini Arora criticized Halford after he described the Western Standard as “independent journalism at its best” and said “B.C. needs more of it.”

Peel police apologize after presentation to school board featuring Black gangs sparks racism accusations by the usual professional whiners
A Peel police presentation last week to school administrators about youth gangs — which included a music video containing the N-word — prompted an apology Friday from the force for “any harm” caused to those in attendance.
Meanwhile the school board, which initially apologized in a memo to staff the next day, appeared to soften its earlier account, saying Friday that after a review, the memo “does not fully reflect the context or intent of the session.”
The April 9 presentation by Peel Regional Police was delivered to administrators and superintendents at the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board as part of a session on student safety, including gang awareness and how to identify and respond to risks facing students.

California Provides Sex-Change Procedures to Homeless Illegal Aliens
Last month, we received a report from a whistleblower who claimed that illegal aliens were staying in San Francisco’s homeless shelters. Following up on the tip, we visited numerous publicly funded shelters in San Francisco, and spoke to employees and residents about their policies, sometimes through a translator.
We discovered not only that the shelters were housing illegal immigrants but also that they were apparently housing a population of male-to-female “transgender” illegal aliens, who had hoped to obtain “gender-affirming care.” And, to our shock, state and local governments apparently are providing it.
