Her make-up free, shellshocked face was beamed into tens of millions of homes across America this week as Destiny Jackson recounted a horrifying encounter with Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

The 26-year-old mother-of-six told CNN that her baby son was tear-gassed after she and her husband Shawn found themselves trapped in an anti-ICE protest in Minneapolis while driving home from their older son’s basketball game.

An altered version of events was offered to the Minneapolis Star-Tribune and Associated Press, with Jackson claiming her family was injured after she stopped to check on her mother, who had been attending the January 14 protest.

Met Police bans ‘Walk With Jesus’ march to avoid provoking local Muslim community

Scotland Yard has stopped a Ukip march from going ahead in east London over fears of provoking the local Muslim community.

The demonstration, titled “Walk With Jesus”, was scheduled for January 31 in Whitechapel – long home to one of Britain’s largest Islamic populations.

Metropolitan Police officials said permitting the event in that location would be “reckless” given the potential for violence.

Starmer’s security chief says Hamas should keep some guns during peace process

Sir Keir Starmer’s lead security aide has been lobbying for Hamas to keep some of its guns as part of the Gaza peace process.

Jonathan Powell, the Prime Minister’s national security adviser, believes the terror group should be permitted to retain AK-47s and other personal weapons, in order to break the deadlock in stalled talks on phase two of the ceasefire.

“He’s been hammering the phone with [the] Americans, trying to push what’s seen on this side as a realistic way forward, as against the Israeli approach,” a source close to the negotiations said.

While discussing the protests against Immigration and Customs Enforcement in American cities, David Marcus wrote in a Fox News Opinion piece last week that “organized gangs of wine moms” were using “antifa tactics to harass and impede” ICE agents. He also referred to those mothers as “self-important white women,” a comment echoed by another Fox News personality, Will Cain, who spoke of “a weird kind of smugness” among them.

“Wine moms” conjures up ludicrous images — women holding babies in one arm and brandishing bottles in the other, legions of them marching forth in zombie lock step.
