LONDON — Since October 7, there have been many dark days here in London. Every Saturday the streets are filled with demonstrators calling for the end of the state of Israel, several Jewish schools have had to close due to safety concerns, and the number of antisemitic incidents has gone through the roof. I have attended and documented a number of these protests, which on occasion have descended into violence, confrontations with police, antisemitic chanting, and even calls for jihad.
All bad, you might be thinking. And you’d be right. But they pale in comparison to what happened this past Wednesday, when the British Parliament, which has been around for 800 years, capitulated to fear of Islamist violence.

The Conservative MP Lee Anderson has claimed that “Islamists” have “got control of London” and its mayor, Sadiq Khan.
Speaking on GB News, Anderson said of Khan, the first Muslim mayor of London: “He’s given our capital city away to his mates.
“I don’t actually believe that the Islamists have got control of our country, but what I do believe is they’ve got control of Khan, and they’ve got control of London.”

Why can’t they just say it? There’s been exhaustive coverage of the threat posed to MPs in recent days, after House of Commons speaker Lindsay Hoyle ripped up parliamentary convention to allow a Labour amendment on Gaza to be debated on the Scottish National Party’s ‘opposition day’. Yesterday, Hoyle rebuffed accusations he had done so after being lent on by the Labour Party, his party, which would have been badly bruised if Labourites had broken ranks and backed the SNP’s own, more ostentatiously anti-Israel, motion. He did so, he said, because of credible threats made to MPs and on the house itself. The logic was that allowing Labour MPs to endorse their party’s own fudgy ceasefire position, rather than just abstain on the SNP’s motion, would have spared them yet more death threats. ‘I never, ever want to go through a situation where I pick up a phone to find a friend, whatever side, has been murdered by terrorists. I also don’t want an attack on this house’, Hoyle said. But at no point did he, or most of the media write-ups, name where that threat is so obviously coming from. Namely, Islamist extremists.
Shamima Begum, the schoolgirl who left the UK to join Islamic State in Syria, has lost the latest round of her legal battle with the Home Office over its decision to remove her British citizenship.
Begum, who was born in the UK and raised in Bethnal Green, east London, was barred from entering the country and had her citizenship stripped in 2019 by Sir Sajid Javid, then home secretary, shortly after she was found by The Times in a refugee camp.
With Ramadan just around the corner, a national Muslim organization and several local congregations are warning members of Parliament they won’t be welcome in their mosques until they call for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, demand restoration of funding for the UN’s aid agency and condemn what they call Israel’s “war crimes.”
An open letter signed by the National Council of Canadian Muslims and a number of prominent mosques, obtained by CBC News, says MPs who refuse to make these pledges publicly will not be “provided with a platform to address our congregations.”
Islamist extremism is not being effectively tackled by the Government, the independent reviewer of Prevent has said, as he warned it was fuelling a “dangerous” surge in anti-Semitism.
In an exclusive interview with The Telegraph, William Shawcross said the Government had failed to fully implement his proposals to overhaul Prevent, its counter terror programme, which meant the public faced an increased threat from extremists and terrorists.
He said the failure to take tougher action stemmed from a continuing bias within Prevent towards tackling the rise in Right-wing terrorism rather than the main threat of Islamist terrorism.
This wasn’t just graffiti or vandalism – this was death threats.
Hamas lovers don’t even hide their hate or intentions anymore. Things have escalated from pushing for “intifada” and removing Jews from the “river to the sea” to now calling for political assassinations.
January 30, 2024. The French weekly, Le Journal du Dimanche, publishes the most comprehensive and detailed survey on what French Muslims think. Not surprisingly, the results are disturbing.
The first question in the survey was about Jews. 17% of French Muslims admit that they hate Jews. 39% say they have a bad, or very bad, opinion of Judaism.
Canada is heading in the same direction as France and the UK. Our political leaders should be in shackles.

“I was hurt. I was angry. But most of all I was heartbroken,” Leah Goldstein, 55, wrote on her website.
School is out in Thorncliffe Park, and the race for the elevators is on.
It’s about 3:30 on a Monday afternoon — the kind of unusually sunny February day that leads some children to linger outside on the swing sets of the local park. But at this hour, many families are making their way route home.
Inside the lobby of 47 Thorncliffe Park Dr., the tail-end of their commute becomes a question of strategy. A crush of 20 or so people are waiting for one of the five elevators to reach the ground level. Many others — predominantly kids and teenagers — are meanwhile skirting the queue, wheeling left of the elevator bay to the stairwell, where they’ll climb to the second floor to intercept the car before it reaches the lobby, ensuring their spot inside.
… Just one per cent of the country’s population, Canadian Jews were already disproportionately the victims of hate crimes before Hamas launched its armed assault, and the Israeli military responded in Gaza.
But something happened after Oct. 7 that has brought it into the open in ways uncharacteristic of a diverse nation that prides itself on tolerance and the embrace of multiculturalism.
“It’s almost like a world gone mad,” said Rabbi Menachem Karmel, principal at Yeshiva Gedola, a Jewish elementary school in Montreal’s Côte-des-Neiges neighbourhood.
They really have to stop peddling the Big Lie that Canadians are proud of being “multicultural and diverse”.
The only reason this lie has been able to propagate is that Canadians remain afraid of being called racist by their government and the media if they dare to question the elites mass immigration scam.
Anyone who has followed this blog knows full well that Muslim immigration has proven to be a massive self inflicted wound across the West.
Islamists and their fellow travelers on the left have long worked together to spread their hatred of the west under the guise of anti-racism, de-colonization, DEI & white privilege etc.
Despite occasional eruptions the extent of their antisemitism was managed well enough to attract plenty of willfully blind useful idiots.
So long as Whites were the declared target DEI racists were successful at infiltrating academia, public and private institutions.
Then Oct 7th happened and the useful idiots found out their allies considered them as evil as Whites if not actually White. For some Oct 7th was a wake up call though to my personal amazement Chickens for Colonel Sanders remains a going concern.
And no the so called “anti-Zionists” that harass hospitals are not a fringe minority of Canada’s Muslims as some of our leading lights will be sure to claim.
It was only a matter of time before Canada became a “Shithole State” like their European counterparts.
We may not be as far down the crapper as France or the UK or Sweden but we’re working on it.
“Canada’s hate crimes laws exempt good faith religious expression from prosecution.”
State enforced tolerance of the intolerant has consequences.
Detectives searching for Abdul Ezedi, the man wanted for the corrosive substance attack on a mother and her children in Clapham, have recovered a body from the River Thames.
The body was spotted by a passing boat close to Tower Pier at around 4pm on Monday, Scotland Yard said.
Mayor of London announces multicultural shortlist of sculptures for landmark’s fourth plinth
Sadiq Khan has been accused of promoting “anti-British propaganda” with a multicultural shortlist of sculptures for Trafalgar Square’s fourth plinth.
The Mayor of London has resisted calls for a statue of Queen Elizabeth II to be erected in the space and instead launched a competition that will be decided by a public vote.
Offerings include a Bollywood-themed ice cream van, a golden bust of a woman’s head representing “a collective community portrait” and a black woman in a revealing blue dress.

A Minnesota school district will allow parents to withdraw their children from LGBTQ lessons after six Somali Muslim families threatened to sue when books discussing gender identity where introduced to their elementary school classroom.
St. Louis Park Public Schools granted the opt-out requests in January and February after parents complained at a school board meeting in October there was not a process in place for them to exempt their students from reading LGBTQ material.
Several Somali mothers spoke at a school board meeting on October 24 claiming books that are against their religious beliefs were introduced to the children without their knowledge.
Way back in 2005, when I was an MP in the Netherlands, my party was strategising about the upcoming local elections. I belonged to the centre-right VVD, and we were particularly concerned about appealing to the nation’s growing migrant community. After much discussion, the leaders settled on Laetitia Griffith to represent us in Amsterdam. She was black and had roots in Suriname, a former Dutch colony in the Caribbean. She could pull in the city’s Creole vote. More importantly, the VVD’s strategists thought she could win over some of the city’s Muslim population.
