One of the recently released hostages was held for 50 days in the attic of an UNRWA teacher, Channel 13 News correspondent Almog Boker reported.

This teacher locked the victim away, barely provided food, and neglected medical needs,” Boker wrote on X (Formerly Twitter).
A 24-year-old woman, a 73-year-old man, and an additional victim were murdered Thursday morning in a shooting attack at one of the entrances to Jerusalem.
Magen David Adom (MDA) reported that five additional victims were moderately injured. Shaare Zedek Medical Center and Hadassah Ein Kerem Medical Center have received eight victims who were evacuated from the scene. Two of the victims suffered light injuries, one suffered moderate injuries, and five suffered serious injuries.

Why do the West’s ‘pro-Palestine’ supporters refuse to recognise the suffering of the Israeli hostages?
Israeli citizens suffered a double blow on 7 October. First came the brutal Hamas terrorist attack in which 1,200 people were slaughtered and a further 240 taken hostage. Then, within hours, came the dreadful response of far too many in the West.
The streets of Western capitals soon filled not with marches in solidarity with the murdered and abducted, but with ‘pro-Palestine’ celebrations and protests. University campuses and social media were flooded not with support for Jewish people, but with a wave of anti-Semitism.
Nearly two months after the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres acknowledged on Wednesday that Hamas terrorists performed acts of sexual violence against Israelis.
“There are numerous accounts of sexual violence during the abhorrent acts of terror by Hamas on 7 October that must be vigorously investigated and prosecuted,” Guterres wrote on X.
Hundreds of pro-Palestinian protesters swarmed the streets surrounding Rockefeller Center Wednesday, clashing with NYPD cops and chanting “river to the sea,” long seen as an antisemetic slogan, in an effort to derail the annual tree lighting in support of Gaza.

As soon as the Israeli government decided to retaliate and announced that it seeks to destroy Hamas, “the new ISIS”, fear and horror began to fade and rapidly gave way to a return of “the world’s oldest hatred”.
Who had Parents magazine on their bingo card as running one of the most one-sided stories on the Israel-Hamas war? The magazine of child-raising tips, online-only since 2022, has grown-up to be a home of ignorant rants like a smear against Moms for Liberty, “How ‘Klanned Karenhood’ Is Infiltrating Schools.”
Contributor Syeda Khaula Saad didn’t try to disguise her slant in “How To Talk to Kids About Islamophobia.” The sub-head served as a sample of Hamas-denial: “As attacks on Palestine intensify, anti-Muslim rhetoric and violence have increased worldwide. Here’s some guidance on how to explain Islamophobia to children.” It’s a clumsy piece of pro-Palestinian, anti-Israeli propaganda under the guise of one of those sensitive “how to talk to your children” pieces.

Israel has promised Qatar that it will not try to assassinate Hamas leaders living in the Gulf state — but only for now.

However, one MP says some of those calls and acts cross the line, and they’ve become concerned for the safety of their staff when demonstrations take place at constituency offices.
I think we have a domestic Hamas problem on our hands.
Israel signed a hostage release deal with Hamas, brokered by the Qatari government and with the support of the Biden Administration. Although priceless hostages were freed as a result and the Israeli government vows to resume the war, this remains a very dangerous deal and epitomizes the warped, thinking and conceptions that led to the massacre and failures Israel suffered on the 7th October.
The Hamas of Oct 7 will not change because of a truce.
Israel today said it is checking claims by Hamas that Kfir Babis, a baby who was snatched and taken into Gaza by the terrorists, was killed in an Israeli airstrike alongside his mother and brother.
Hamas’ armed wing Al-Qassam Brigades claimed, without providing evidence, that the 10-month-old baby, his mother Shiri Silberman-Babis, 30, and four-year-old brother Ariel, were killed in an Israeli bombardment before the truce was announced.
Kfir’s father Yarden, who was taken hostage by the terrorists, was not mentioned in the statement.
