Dutch Ban on ‘From the River to the Sea’ Chant Raises Free Speech Questions

Parliamentarians in the Dutch lower house narrowly voted this week to criminalise the chant “from the river to the sea,” which calls for Israel to be wiped off the map. There are questions over how the motion, passed by just 74-73 votes, will be enacted. But more importantly, it strikes at the heart of the debate over the limits of free speech.

Members of Geert Wilders’ populist Party for Freedom said the ban was in response to “a disturbing increase in anti-Semitic incidents in the Netherlands.” The motion adds that “from the river to the sea” comes “right off the Hamas charter and is therefore a call for violence against all Jews worldwide.”

World’s Greatest Statesman Justin Trudeau says Benjamin Netanyahu is blocking two-state solution for Israelis and Palestinians because he gets upset when his people are raped & murdered

Justin Trudeau says Benjamin Netanyahu is blocking two-state solution for Israelis and Palestinians

OTTAWA — Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has accused Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of impeding progress toward a two-state solution between Israel and a Palestinian state, saying Canada “fundamentally” disagrees with his government’s position on achieving peace.

“Canada’s position has always been that the solution to the extraordinarily difficult challenges in the Middle East are a two-state solution, a peaceful, secure democratic Israel alongside a peaceful, secure, democratic Palestinian state,” Trudeau said Friday during a news conference in Nova Scotia.

What a vote whore.

As it said it would, the University of Toronto issued a trespass notice to a pro-Palestinian encampment at 4 p.m. Friday.

London’s Jews are fighting back against the bigots

Phoenix Cinema – The show did go on.

On Thursday evening, over 1,500 members of London’s Jewish community and their allies chased off an anti-Israel protest outside the Phoenix cinema in East Finchley, north London.

The anti-Israel protest, organised by the Palestine Solidarity Campaign, was prompted by the Phoenix’s decision to show a film from Seret, the UK-Israeli film festival. The film in question, Supernova: The Music Festival Massacre, documents the Hamas attack on 7 October last year, in which hundreds of music fans were slaughtered.

Ramy Elitzur: The boycott demands of U of T’s violent encampment mob simply can’t be met

As a member of the University of Toronto’s Governing Council and several of its committees, I am dismayed by the violent mob that has taken over a central area of the university, targeting members of the Jewish community through such illegal actions as confinement and assault. The university’s response, under the guise of academic freedom, has been inadequate, negotiating with the mob instead of addressing antisemitism and eventually caving in to divestment. U of T would have taken a much more aggressive approach, as it should, if any of these antisemitic acts were targeted at a different at-risk group.

Leftists and Jihadists: strange bedfellows

Who are the winners of Gaza? The Islamist international. Well managed between jihadism and the useful idiots of the West

“Strange Bedfellows” is not just a 1964 film starring Rock Hudson and Gina Lollobrigida. In politics and war they are called “bedfellows”, but the radical left’s love affair with Islamic fanatics is the strangest couple that ever existed. Even Hitler and Stalin had much more in common.

How to explain the infatuation and alliance of progressivism with Islamic fundamentalists who kill Jews and Christians, want to replace secularism with sharia, subjugate women and cut off the heads of those who draw a harmless cartoon?

The Secret Reason Hamas’s Friends – Ireland, Norway, Spain (and Germany) – Are Helping the Palestinians

In the past few days, Hamas and other terrorist groups have been rejoicing over the decision by Ireland, Norway and Spain to recognize a Palestinian state. The terrorists are so delighted that they have released several statements praising the three countries and stating that the Palestinians view the recognition as a direct result of their terrorist attacks against Israel. Germany, not to be left out, said it would “detain Benjamin Netanyahu if he were to set foot on German soil and if the International Criminal Court (ICC) issues an arrest warrant…”

Trudeau supports ICJ call for Israel to stop Rafah operation & beseeches Better Angels Of Hamas to lay down their arms at his behest

OTTAWA — Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said he supports an order from the International Court of Justice for Israel to stop any military campaigns in Rafah.

Hamas should lay down its arms and release the hostages still in the group’s custody, but it’s also time for Israel to stop its military campaign, said Trudeau.

Antisemitism Tsarina: If the DEI Cabal grants Jews victimhood status then they can continue hating on White People.

Eliminating religion as a hate speech defence an idea worth exploring, says antisemitism envoy

Canada’s special envoy for combating antisemitism says she’s “very interested” in exploring the idea of eliminating religion as a possible defence against hate speech charges.

Deborah Lyons, whose mandate also includes preserving Holocaust remembrance, appeared Thursday before a parliamentary committee that is studying antisemitism on university campuses.

Jewish leaders, students and faculty have been voicing concerns about an increase in hate speech and violence since the beginning of the Israel-Hamas war last fall.

Lyons said she believes universities’ equity, diversity and inclusion strategies are “failing Jews in this country” because they don’t make much mention of antisemitism specifically.

So our Antisemitism Tsarina is saying that if the DEI Cabal grants Jews victimhood status then the cabal can continue hating White People.

Why not call for the dismantling of the DEI Cabal?

Does she not get that DEI is all about anti-White racism? Or is it that she approves?

Proponents Of Multiculturalism & Other Bad Ideas remain silent over Canada’s Anti-Semitism Crisis

Former general criticizes Canada’s failure to combat antisemitism

VICTORIA, Canada – Canada is failing not just its Jewish community but all of its citizens by fostering hate and violent rhetoric through the inaction of the country’s leadership, former Canadian Armed Forces chief of the Defense Staff Gen. (ret.) Rick Hillier told The Jerusalem Post in an interview on Monday.

The ex-head of the Canadian military said he didn’t go far enough in a May 1 National Post article warning that Ottawa has deserted its Jewish citizens as antisemitism proliferates across the northern country’s cities and academic campuses.

“We didn’t just fail, and are not just failing 400,000 Jewish Canadians; we’re failing 41 million people. And to me, that’s bloody unacceptable,” said Hillier.

Islam, the Left and the DEI/CRT Cabal are the prime movers of anti-semitism in Canada. The people responsible for allowing the mass import of Muslims will never admit to having made a mistake and this being Canada they will get off Scott-Free.

Nor will they face consequences for the anti-White racism that is the core of their deranged beliefs.

They likely still think it’s a good idea. When they find a way to blame it on White People they’ll speak up.

They don’t even try to hide it anymore.

I would like some clarification on which victims the MP is referring to. Jews and Whites or only Jews for being classed as White?

I get the impression that rather than abolish DEI the goal is to gain victimhood status. The ADL among other organizations is seeking such an accommodation in the US – See Jewish communal leaders still committed to DEI framework, despite widespread criticism

ICJ orders Israel to halt Rafah operation, requests additional measures

The International Court of Justice in the Hague ordered Israel to halt its Rafah operation, in a blow to Jerusalem’s diplomatic and judicial systems, on Friday. The court also ordered Israel to enable the entry of all the necessary humanitarian aid to Gaza.

All measures were agreed upon in a vote of 13-2. The two votes against each measure were Julia Sebutinde, Uganda’s representative to the International Court of Justice, and Aharon Barak, former Israeli High Court President and Israel’s appointee to the ICJ Panel.

‘It’s not enough’: Israeli official calls on Canada to be a more steadfast ally

I think that ship has sailed Israel. Justin needs the Hamas vote.

OTTAWA — Canada should be a more steadfast ally to Israel, says Ronen Gilor, Israel’s special adviser on Canada.

In an exclusive interview with the Star, Gilor pointed to several points of tension between the two countries, including that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau told the Israeli government in March privately there would be “no more deals” to export Canadian-made light armoured vehicles to Israel despite written assurances that the equipment was not for military use in Gaza.

Democrats Panic Over Jewish Voters

After tossing Jewish voters overboard to accommodate the Hamas supporters of Dearborn, Michigan, the Democrats are starting to get nervous about the choice they made.

Despite the rollout of the campaign, beginning with Senator Schumer’s floor speech blasting Israel, and various liberal Jewish surrogates, including Rep. Jerry Nadler, vocally opposing the campaign against Hamas, the Democrats did not manage to sell Jews on Biden’s betrayal.

I’ll believe this when I see it and frankly I don’t expect to see it.

A recent poll in Canada measuring Jewish support found 33% still likely to vote Liberal. In the US Jews voting Democrat is practically a religious rite.
